After impressive singles wins over each member of the Eliminators, albeit with the assistance of Edge and Christian, Sean Gunn was awarded a title shot at Raven. The match, though, never took place as Raven simply laid down and allowed Gunn to pin him. When asked why, Raven responded, almost lucidly considering some of his statements, "There is no more Taz. There is no more Hennig. When I beat Austin, that one will be no more as well. The monopoly will be done. My final victory is close at hand."
