Mr. Perfect received a shot at the World Championship as a reward for becoming the Emperor of the Ring, but neither Mr. Perfect nor Taz was disappointed in hearing this match would be signed. Taz had wanted to get at Mr. Perfect for a long, long time, ever since Perfect refused to face him in the SCW. This match was a true classic, one of the greatest of all-time, and though Mr. Perfect won, both men showed exactly why they were, truly, THE main event.
