DATELINE FLASH! - (TWW) In a move that has stunned the wrestling world, The Terror was attacked during his match Monday while challenging Cooleroy for the World's Championship.

The Whirl is proud to have brought you this news before anyone else.

After about eighteen minutes of excellent action, Terror seemingly had the upper hand in the match against the champion Cooleroy, and had just called for his finishing manouevre, The Terror Spike, when he was interrupted by a mysterious visage on the big screen.

The visage reportedly attempted to taunt The Terror, and to rank him out. Having been distracted by the visage's appearance, Terror was then brutally attacked by a mysterious masked figure that had entered the ring.

After the attack, Cooleroy was able to get the pin and retain the championship.

"Yeah man, that was pretty awesome," said Buggy Schlieren, 19, who was in attendance. "That dude on the screen, I didn't like him after what he did to JTG at Wrestlerama, but I think he made the right decision today."

Althea Johnson, 27, of The North Side, agreed. "I agree," said Miz Johnson. "I was worried that Terror might take the title."

Not all fans received the interference in a positive way, however.

"That was a load of crap," said Jason Worm, who had been cheering for The Terror. "Terror had the man beat, and some guy comes out and interferes. I've never seen such cheating."

We at The Whirl are split over what we think the attack is supposed to mean.

Some of us think that this was orchestrated by the same people who attacked Joe The Giant at WrestleRama, and that it is their way of making up for that dastardly and cowardly deed.

Others think that this was a copy-cat attack, most likely staged to bring about a feeling of sympathy for Terror.

"No, I wouldn't put it past him," said one Whirl staffer. "I mean, that makes such complete sense, I think you've got the whole answer right there. It's obvious that Terror staged this thing, so as to put himself and his whole hate-crime syndicate over by making it seem like they're being persecuted. That's what it is. It's obvious! And anyone who thinks there's any other explanation is one of his supporters, is what I think. It's dishonourable to think that this is anything but a staged attack by Terror."

Both Terror and that dude in the mask were unavailable for comment.
