MNB presented Red Alert live on PPV at the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The show started with Grunge taking on his former tag team partner and best friend Drako in a dangerous inferno match for the SIW Hardcore Championship. Fire surrounded the ring as they battled; Drako pulled a crowbar from under the ring and hit Grunge right in the head busting him wide open. Drako set a table in the middle of the ring with a chair on top of it and then lit in on fire with a zippo and some lighter fluid. Drako whipped Grunge to the ropes but Grunge countered with a closeline followed by a DDT. Grunge won the match after he poured lighter fluid over his opponent and superplexed Drako through the flaming table which set him on fire. Paramedics and the fire service had to rush to the ring. Drako may have suffered severe burns and Grunge was unable to walk due to severe blood loss.
Jack Kent interviewed some special fans in the font row. Pittsburgh Penguins #1 draft pick Sydney Crosby and Penguins goaltender Jocelyn Thibault were at the show having a great time. Kent asked for their predictions for the battle royal, Crosby picked Bishop as the winner while Thibault thought Airington was going home with the gold.
After a video package for SIW Unhallowed Desires in October, fan favorites Glenn Kirby and Angel aka Angel Authority put their SIW World Tag Team Championship on the line against a very competitive DMW. Angel had a severe head cold and a cough and was reported as having 105 fever. Kirby kept things under control until Static and Tragic got the upper hand after double teaming the A.O.A behind referee Andrew Yung’s back. Late in the match, Static nailed Angel with a swinging neck breaker followed by Tragic’s leg drop off the top rope and that was enough to get the upset win with a pin fall. Kirby called for some medical assistance as Angel lay unconscious in the middle of the ring. DMW grabbed their belts and quickly made their way backstage.
A limo arrived backstage and immediately security surrounded the premises. It was none other than the playboy king himself, Hugh Hefner. He was scheduled to have an exclusive interview with Katie Mysfit, the one SIW diva he hired after H-Bomb exposed her breast last year at Red Alert.
Heavy Metal Hero cut a promo with Jack Kent and admitted that the battle royal won’t be as easy as he thought but he had high expectations for himself and winning was one of his only options. He continued his promo until the “Paragon” Larry Larry Lansdowne interrupted. He politely asked HMW to stop boring the fans and let a real superstar take the mic. They got into a pushing match until officials broke it up.
The SIW Women’s Championship was on the line as Xtina and Liana Lewis delivered one of the best diva matches of all time. H-Bomb and Regina took on commentary for the match and degraded both competitors throughout the match. Xtina went for an elbow off the top rope but Liana moved at the last second. The champion went to deliver Liana’s Flow but Xtina countered in a back body drop. Xtina went for the Goodie Kick but Liana ducked and then executed a belly to back suplex. The match ended when Lewis pinned Xtina after delivering Liana’s Flow. After the match, H-Bomb hit Liana from behind with a purse that had a brick in it. As Regina and H-Bomb beat her down some more, Xtina grabbed a chair to help but decided to walk away and let Liana deal with her own problems.
The Mayhem arrived at the Mellon Arena led by General Manager Greg Banks. They broke into Bishop locker room but the “Incredible” one was nowhere to be found. They asked staff members and officials if they say him and a staff member directed them down the hall.
Christina York appeared as a special guest and sang her version of America the Beautiful as the Trevortron showed footage remembering the victims of 9/11. After a standing ovation, Mo and Jaffar came out waving an Iraqi flag and stated that the fans were at Red Alert to witness a Middle Eastern superstar win the SIW Championship on September 11, not to remember a meaningless moment driven by the media that happen four years ago. After saying America sucked in 2001 and it still does in 2005, the fans threw as much garbage as they could and made them flee backstage.
Former SIW European Champion Khristian Call was introduced in the crowd as “The Disco Duck” Jimmy Cefalo took on Mysery in a First Blood match for the SIW European Championship. Disco seemed to be close to retaining the title after he hit Mysery over his head several times with a 2x4. However Mysery came out big after he broke a camera over Cefalo’s head busting wide open to win the match and the championship. As Mysery celebrated the biggest match of his career, Angelica Hunt came out and accepted his hand in marriage and told H-Bomb that the only reason that H-Bomb talks shit is because she’s jealous.
Katie Mysfit interviewed Hugh Hefner and asked him the questions she’s been waiting to ask for almost a year. She demanded an explanation on why she got fired for no reason and he said he can’t have violence in the mansion and that he punished both her and her assailants. Katie ended the segment by nailing him with the Punk Rock Smash and then threw him out of the ring calling him a pervert.

After Bishop threw HMH over the top rope, a masked man appeared from under the ring and held Bishop by his arm letting Airington throw him over the top rope. UWWE World Champion Doogan hit James with a knee to his back but as he whipped him to the ropes, James delivered the AirSlam. Airington saw the masked person on the apron and went to kick him but he got blinded with some blue powder in his eyes. Duane delivered the DooganDT and threw him over the top rope to win the match and become the SIW Champion. This can only mean bad news for the SIW because Doogan announced earlier in the week that if he won the title he was leaving the promotion with it. The new SIW Champion will make his final appearance as he takes on the CEO Trevor Derickson tomorrow night on MNB.
