WWE: How many years have you been refereeing?
Three
WWE: WHy do you want to be a ref?
Well, there are a lot of "Senior citizens" like Mike Chioda and Teddy Long refereeing. I figured there'd be a lot of openings and a lot of chances to move up with these old guys around.
WWE: We've heard a lot about referees and women. Is any of it true?
Well, I'm married, but Jack Doan tells me that women love a man in a striped shirt.
WWE: What's your most memorable moment?
My first match with Steve Blackman and Tiger Ali Singh. Just walking out to the ring, I was so nervous. Once I got in the ring, though, I was fine.
WWE: What's your most terrifying moment?
Any time you take a bump can be scary. One time, Chyna knocked me down and dislocated my jaw. Getting chokeslammed by Kane was no joy either.
WWE: Have you gotten any help from some of the more senior refs?
Teddy Long has helped me a lot. He's been in the business for many, many years-if you know what I mean-but he's been a big help. And he's always keeping it real. Timmy White and Earl Hebner have also helped me out a ton.
WWE: How do you feel about getting booed?
It's kind of fun getting booed, because it means I'm doing my job. Most of the people in the audience don't know all the rules, so it probably mans I'm all right.
WWE: How do you feel about instant replay?
I think they should leave that to football
