The Scorpion King Mini-site is officially finished....There will be no more updates for it because everything has been completed....The movie is now out on DVD/Video and sometime in 2003 it should be premiering on one of the cable premium channels...maybe Starz...Thanks to everyone who visited to get information from this site. This site will always be located in the movie section of the Dwayne Johnson Fever.net website so if you ever want to come back and look at everything again....the link will be there.

Chuck Russell on The Scorpion King:
Director Chuck Russell defended his film, "The Scorpion King," against a journalist who criticized his use of surgically enhanced women in the cast of the historical epic. When a female reporter suggested that women didn't have breast implants in 3000 B.C., Russell responded, "There probably weren't men with bodies like The Rock's either."

Russell continued, "First of all, no history class will ever show this film. I wanted the audience to have as good a time going to this movie as I had going to the set every day with all of these fantastic players and wonderful crew members. We had a high beauty quotient and I paid absolutely no attention to historical accuracy."

When the feminist journalist continued to prod about some of the actresses' silicone quotient, Russell said, "How do you know these were breast implants? They were healthy women eating soy beans."

There is already talk of it being a Mummy 3 in which Rock will not be in(duh) but what about Scorpion King sequels..."One thing we know for certain is that we won't get him for $5 million this time, but we know The Rock is very much interested in future adventures of his Scorpion King character."
