He entered EFW first, not knowing the ropes and learning as he went along. In a year of progress, Bruce held the Tag titles on two occasions, the Hardcore title and the National title at the peak of his EFW career. The federation closed its doors and Bruce moved onto MWA where he once again captured tag gold, but after only a few weeks, a public dispute with the president of MWA forced Bruce to move elsewhere. Next, GWA tasted "The Hatred." Bruce dominated GWA and after three long months, Bruce found himself holding both the Kinf of Xtreme title on one shoulder and the World Heavyweight title on his other while being named GWA Wrestler of the Year 2003. GWA shut down in early February 2004, where Bruce moved onto CWF. Bruce was pushed so hard in this federation, given a title shot after only one month, headlining the PPV. He was cheated out of a win and CWF split into two brands. At the next PPV, Bruce was set to become the first ever CWF Heavyweight Champion, but one week before the match, CWF closed. Bruce now went for the big time, enlisting in ULW. Bruce regards his time in ULW as the best period in his career yet. Bruce was fast becoming a superstar and was fighting world famous wrestlers week in and week out, and winning. After 4 months, Bruce finally own gold, the Livewire title. However, pay disputes and other faults led to Bruce leaving ULW. He now spent a couple of months out before making his return to IHWA. Within a few weeks, Bruce was entered into a tournament for the IHWA World Heavyweight title, a tournament which he won to become to first ever IHWA World Champion. After a couple of months, Bruce left the federation, not happy with the status of IHWA. Bruce wanted to relive his fame of ULW and that has brought him here, to SIW.
