Bio
Got into the wrestling business as a promoter of his own company UWWE, the starting place for future SIW stars Ian Bishop, Envy and ABA to name a few. Came to SIW in the summer of 2005 bringing his companys world title with him and regulary defended the belt on SIW TV. At his first ever PPV match at RED Alert he captured the SIW Championship by winning a 20-Man Battle Royal. After being named the 2005 Superstar of the Year and going throughfeuds with Ryan Johnson, Ian Bishop, The Uncanny Inferno, Angel and Grunge, he was moved to Carnage where he hooked up with old flameEnvy. However, after Matt Uzi destroyed their relationship.
Despite Uzi's undefeated streak at WrestleFest, Doogan took on The Greatest One at the 2006 event and won. Their feud continued and in a public brawl between the two, Uzi pushed Doogan in front of moving traffic and Doogan was later pronounced dead in hospital. However, during Matt Uzi's world title match with SonnySmith, Doogan showed up and cost his nemesis the match. Due to this unique and mysterious presence the SIW fans gave him the nickname The Living Dead. Doogan would go on to capture the SIW Heavyweight Championship and became the third and final star to win both world titles on each brand. Due to the world titles being drafted more superstars have been able to capture both titles without ever conquering both brands. Doogan was on of three.
Duane Doogan also teamed with Brandon Gateman to form Collision Course, who would win the SIW Tag Team Championships on four occasions and also be named 2006 Tag Team of the Year. "The Living Dead" returned to Carnage in late 2007 after a short absence thanks to the "higher power" with the goal of once again becomming the SIW Champion
