Desperate Measures was sold out and live on PPV from the Coliseum in Mississippi with Katie Mysfit and Jimmy Hayden on commentary. The show started with Grunge taking on Drako in a pink slip on a poll match. The former tag partner’s delivered a great match but ended quickly after Grunge delivered the Grunganator on the entrance ramp and then climbed the poll to get the pink slip. At the end of the match, Grunge ran his mouth about being the best and that he should be SIW champion but he was cut off by gender bender Dr. Frank N Furter who came out and blew a kiss to Grunge. Polar’s security and SIW officials had to stop Grunge from wanting to kill Dr. Frank.
A limo pulled up in the parking as ”Primetime” Ryan Johnson and Bernardo arrived at the Coliseum. As they stepped out, they where immediately attacked by the SIW Champion. Angel whipped Bernardo into a garbage can and then engaged in a fist fight with Primetime until SIW officials broke it up. Last Monday, Bernardo ordered Primetime to send Angel’s girlfriend Jessie through the contract table.
After a video promo for SIW Summer Sonic, NAWWA Champion Xtina took on Regina Todd. Xtina replaced former SIW Women’s Champion Liana Lewis who suffered an ACL just a week before the PPV, ending her historic title run. Both divas put up a great fight. Regina came close to winning the match after delivering a devastating belly to belly suplex off the top rope but Xtina kicked out at the last second. Regina made a mistake when she missed a closeline and fell victim to the Goodie Kick. Xtina made history when she pinned Regina Todd to win the SIW Women’s Championship. Katie Mysfit entered the ring and presented the title to Xtina and raised her hand in victory. Xtina warned everyone that the “Xtina Era” has now begun.

Jaffar then announced that tomorrow night, he will be hosting the premiere of his new talk show, Jaffar’s Cave and his first guest is going shock everyone.
A pregnant H-Bomb told everyone that her baby Jenna Paige was doing great and then announced September 24 as her due date. Amodeus Macabre put his arm around her while The Beast Master dedicated his match for the World Tag titles to Regina. As Asmodeus and BM left for their match, H-Bomb and Regina walked into Greg Banks office to get a rematch against Xtina as soon as possible.
After a promo for SIWA Wednesday War, the SIW World Tag Team Championship was on the line in a very dangerous scaffold match. In order to win, you must throw both your opponents off 80 foot high scaffold. Asmodeus body slammed Cefalo and then nailed him with a leg drop but from behind, Willy drop kicked him off the scaffold but Macabre held on and eventually made it back to the surface. The match ended when The Beast Master sent Willy and himself crashing into some electrical equipment with a Big Boot with Willy holding on to his leg. Asmodeus was going to powerbomb Jimmy onto the entrance ramp but Andrew made Russel climb up and clip Macabre’s knee from behind. Jimmy threw him off with a hip toss on the entrance ramp to retain the championship. All four competitors received medical attention after the match. Macabre had a huge cut on his forearm, Willy and Beast Master might have suffered internal injuries.

Terror Soule and Khristian Call battled for the SIW European Championship in a classic wrestling match. Near the end, Terror Soule applied the sleeper hold and then turned it into a reverse DDT. As he went for the flying headbutt off the top rope, Call moved out of the way last second. Call picked up the victory after delivering Killer Instinct 360 spinning face buster and got the pin fall to retain the SIW European championship. After the match, the letters INC appeared on the Trevortron as Call walked up the entrance ramp. As he reached the curtain, “Incredible” Ian Bishop leveled him with a baseball bat. Bishop set up a table and left Call motionless after delivering The Cyclone through the table. Bishop was booed as security was forced to throw him out of the Coliseum.
Jack Kent interviewed SIW legend and hall of famer American Bulldog who attended the show with his family. He said he was impressed at the talent on Monday Night Brawl and still loved the business but he is not in any condition for a comeback. When asked who his favorite MNB superstar was and his answer was the SIW Champion Angel and his most hated was Matt Uzi over at Carnage.
A 15’ cage surrounded the ring for the main event. The SIW Championship was on the line in a dangerous steel cage match between the challenger “Primetime” Ryan Johnson and the champion Angel. Jessie was told to stay backstage for the blood fest as Angel called it. Primetime and Angel didn’t waist any time and locked up before the bell rang. Angel was busted wide open at the beginning after being thrown face first into the side of the cage several time. As Primetime went for a corner splash, Angel moved out of the way and nailed Johnson with a running bulldog. Angel tried to climb out of the cage but Primetime caught up with him and executed a Russian leg sweep off the top of the cage. Both men were hurt but Angel managed to crawl towards the door but as he made it, Bernardo slammed the door twice in his face. Bernardo wanted to throw a chair in the cage but out of nowhere, Jessie nailed him with a low blow and then bitch slapped him. Angel and Primetime were bleeding severely but both managed to climb out of the cage. Referee Andrew Yung announced Primetime as the winner but senior referee Sam Carter came out and said that both their feet touched the ground at the same time and over ruled the decision to a no contest
