Titan started the ppv by coming out the ring and announced that he has replaced the incompetent Wayne Cashmere with new Carnage official Bobby Glass. After congratulating NuTz on bringing the SIW European Championship to Carnage at Breakdown, Titan then announced that the triple threat match has been change to a triple title falls count anywhere match. The first fall wins the SIW Extreme Championship, second gets the SIW European Championship and the last fall wins the SIW North American Championship. Before leaving the ring, Titan reminded everyone that Bishop was released for breaching his contract that’s why in the main event; Titan replaced him and guaranteed that he and the SIW Heavyweight Champion Brandon Gateman would kick Angel and Doogan’s ass all over the ring.
The First match was between The Ghost and SIW Lightweight Champion “Street Kid” David O’Connor. As Chris O’Connor distracted the referee, David used a folded steel chair and leveled Ghost in the face and then smashed it over Rick’s head which knocked him off the apron. As the referee turned around, David won the match via pin fall after delivering the Crash Effect. After the match, David O’Connor told the crowd he was invincible and the greatest lightweight competitor in SIW history. He told Envy that just because she’s a woman she isn’t going to get any special treatment at Wrestlefest because he plans on kicking her ass like he just did to Ghost and all the others that have fallen at his feet.
A video package was shown from Breakdown ONE NIGHT ONLY. With NuTz winning the SIW European Championship over Brawl’s Soren, Metalgod’s upset win over Stylez and Natedawg finally winning the war against Bishop, the ratings were much better than the company expected. The ratings did so well that the SIW might hold a Wednesday War ONE NIGHT ONLY later in the year.
The next match was the triple title falls count anywhere match between North American Champion Metalgod, Tim Smith and current European and Extreme champion NuTz. As the match made it to the locker area, Metalgod picked up the first fall by hitting Tim Smith with the God Bomb on top of a steel crate and won the Extreme title. Later in the match, NuTz leveled him with a huge clothesline and then nailed him with the NuTz N’ BoltZ. NuTz pinned Metalgod to win the second fall and the European title. As the match progressed, we saw Smith and NuTz working together. They picked up Metalgod and then launched him off a balcony and made him fall and break several seats at the bottom which left him unconscious. Out of nowhere, Smith knocked NuTz off his feet with a kick to the back of his knee and then delivered the Decapitator off a table and through another. Smith pinned NutZ to capture the SIW North American Championship, his first SIW title. All three competitors received medical attention and were all rushed to the hospital after the match.
Since Matt Uzi announced on Breakdown that he is responsible for suffocating him; “The Irish Whip” Duane Doogan has been looking to confront him. At Meltdown, Doogan pounded on Uzi locker room door but Uzi refused to answer. Doogan started kicking the door until road agents and security officials instructed him to go back to his locker room. Angel appeared and told Doogan that they will have their chance to get Uzi after their match.
The Four Way Diva match was next between Envy, Angelica, Heaven and Michelle. It was every diva for themselves and a win over Envy would mean a lot to the other girls since Envy is the #1 contender for the SIW Lightweight title. Michelle rolled Envy in a little package but the “Sexy Slayer” kicked out at two. Angelica showed her hatred towards Heaven with a very unorthodox and aggressive style. Angie whipped Heaven to the corner and then kicked her down with shots to her face and ribs. From behind, Envy grabbed Angie and then launched her across the ring by her hair and then nailed her with a standing drop kick which knocked her out of the ring. Jaffar was freaking out and decided to get involved in the match but his plans failed after Heaven knocked him off the apron with an elbow to his head. Michelle jumped off the top rope but Envy caught her and flipped her with an impressive hip toss which sent the former playboy playmate out of the ring. Late in the match, Envy nailed Heaven with a DDT and went for a cover but Heaven kicked out. Angie pulled Heaven out of the ring and battled on the outside. Back in the ring, Envy dominated until David and Chris O’Connor came to ringside. As referee Bobby Glass was trying to get Angie and Heaven back in the ring, Envy went for the Green Envy on Michelle but Chris pushed her off the top rope and David nailed her with the Crash Effect. Not knowing what happen, Angie whipped Heaven into the steel steps and capitalized by pinning Envy in the ring. Michelle was just seconds too late from breaking the count. After the match, security rushed out and was forced to break up a vicious cat fight between Angie and Heaven.
Wrestlefest 2006 will be held live from the Georgia Dome on March 19, 2006. This sports entertainment spectacle happens only once a year and will include the all the top superstars of Brawl and Carnage as well as the traditional hall of fame induction.
Alcoholics Anonymous made their entrance for their match against A.P.B for the SIW Tag Team Championship. Airington started the match against Klubber. After a powerslam, Klubber clotheslined Airington out of the ring. Sylk attacked James on the outside while Stylez and Klubber battled in the ring. Sylk threw James back in the ring and Klubber continued to dominate the match. Coming off the ropes James ducked from a big boot and then nailed Klubber with a flying clothesline. James went to tag in Stylez but to everyone’s surprise, Stylez hit James in the head with his steel briefcase. Big Jimmy Hagen seemed to be pleased with Stylez’s actions. Sylk Walker delivered a shoulder breaker and then pinned James after executing the “Natural” Brainbuster. After the match, A.P.B took their celebration to the back as Stylez demanded a mic. Stylez circling the fallen James Airington with his money in the bank briefcase. He told Airington their friendship was over. Stylez said he can't drink with the likes of him let alone compete with him anymore. Stylez announced he got other priorities and was taking Big Jimmy Hagen with him and I'm going to become the Brawl's world champion at Wretslefest and finally posses Alora. As for his Money in the bank briefcase, Stylez said he was taking it since James let him lose the North American title. Stylez delivered the Name Dropper and told Airington to consider it the Friend Dropper. As Stylez and Jimmy walked down the ramp, they grabbed a fan wearing an Alcoholics Anonymous shirt in the audience and marked a big X on Airington’s face.
Titan made his entrance wearing a “Damn I’m Sexy” t-shirt as he teamed up with SIW Heavyweight Champion Brandon Gateman to take on Angel and the “Irish Whip” Duane Doogan. Angel told Doogan to keep his cool during the match because Uzi would disqualify them and convinced him to start the match against Titan. The big man showed a little ring rust but looked decent in the match. As Titan was in the corner, Angel went for the Atonement Spear but Titan moved out of the way and Angel hit the steel post shoulder first. Titan choked Angel in the corner and Uzi didn’t do anything to break the illegal maneuver. Duane Doogan stepped into the ring as did Gateman. Uzi joined Gateman and kicked the crap out of Doogan in the corner until Angel avoided a clothesline from Titan and clipped his knee coming off the ropes. Angel then clotheslined Gateman out of the ring only to get a head butt from Uzi. Titan continued to dominate the match against Angel and then tagged in Gateman. Angel managed to counter the BKO and then tagged in Doogan who was desperate to get in the match. Doogan whipped Gateman all over the ring and then delivered a nice back body drop. Titan stepped in to the ring and then nailed Doogan with a Big Boot as he came off the ropes. Angel got back in the ring to even the odds but he got a massive chokeslammed by Titan. Duane Doogan nailed Titan with the DooganDT but as he turned around, Uzi leveled him with the SIW Heavyweight championship and just like that, Doogan lost all momentum. Gateman cover him with one arm and Uzi counted a quick count an awarded the match to Titan and Gateman. After the match, Titan ordered Gateman to hit Angel with the BKO and then ordered Uzi to lock the Uzi Four Leg lock on Doogan. Titan and Gateman pushed away all the officials while Uzi kept the maneuver locked. A.P.B tried to get to ringside but they were held back by more security as the show went off the air.
