Wife
fears missing husband kidnapped
A 27-YEAR-OLD father of Bladen Hall,
East Coast Demerara, was missing up to yesterday and his
wife feels he was kidnapped Wednesday night.
Sunita Ganesh said that Kamaldeo Ganesh,
popularly known as `Golo',
went on his usual evening ride on his black Night Hawk motorcycle,
licence plate CD 3939, around 18:30 hrs.
About an hour later, she
said an unidentified person called her on her husband's
cell phone, demanding a ransom in 15 minutes.

She said she was instructed
that she should not contact the Police and that someone
would be waiting for the money at the junction of the Buxton
Side Line Dam and the Railway Embankment.
The wife said she told the
person, who continued calling that she could not easily
acquire the amount of money being demanded.
Then the calls stopped, she
said.
