The first Carnage of 2006 started with General Manager Titan and his fifteen chosen participants at the Assault pay per view coming out to the ring. Titan said that Carnage is going to start the year on a positive note and destroy Brawl once and for all right at the beginning of the year. Titan made fun of Team Brawl including the trouble Banks got himself into by bringing back Dallas Nash. Titan said what next for Brawl since their so desperate? Liana Lewis as SIW Champion? Titan and Bishop start laughing uncontrollably. Titan announced that later in the main event, the world was going to witness a new SIW Heavyweight Champion when “The Indestructible” Ian Bishop defeats Angel in an “extreme” match. Duane Doogan who was holding his Male Competitor of the Year trophy then spoke up and said that whoever wins he deserves a shot at the belt next. Airington then stepped in and said technically he could be the next in line if he uses his money in the bank. Doogan then said to put up or shut up and put it on the line next week. Titan agreed to this and added that if Airington wins, Doogan can’t challenge for the belt until Airington exercises his championship title shot.

The first match was a diva match between the “Sexy Slayer” Envy and Fire Fox accompanied by Dark Tiger. Envy knocked down Fire Fox late in the match with a flying closeline off the ropes and then went for the Green Envy. Dark Tiger pushed her off the top rope and Fire Fox nailed her with a devastating spear and pinned her to steal the win.

Christina York caught up with Matt Uzi’s new manager, the controversial Iraqi Jaffar. She asked what he was smiling about and then he dropped a shocker on everyone. He said that since Uzi had the night off Titan made him the special referee for the main event between Bishop and Angel. The fans started booing so loud Christina York was forced to cut the interview short.

A.P.B put their titles on the line in a triple threat meeting against Ghost & Rick and NuTz & Rikki Cook. A.P.B were slow getting into the match but dominated near the end and managed to retain the SIW Tag Team Championship when Klubber pinned NuTz after delivering a Front Face Buster. After the match, the SIW Lightweight Champion David O’Connor appeared from the crowd wearing street clothes and leveled Rick out of the ring with the belt and then nailed The Ghost also. David pounded on The Ghost’s face until he busted him open and road agents held him back. We hope to find out more behind this vicious assault.

James Airington took on Brandon Gateman who was accompanied by “Indestructible” Ian Bishop in the next match. Airington and Gateman performed a great back and forth match until Bishop decided to stick his nose in it. Bishop threw the briefcase in the ring and distracted the referee. Gateman nailed James with a vertebreaker and went for the briefcase. Unfortunately for Gateman the referee turned around in time as he knocked out Airington with one shot to his head with the briefcase. At the end of the match, Bishop and Gateman continued attacking Airington until Armani Styles showed up and chased them away with a broken champagne bottle, the same one he and James drank at the awards.

After a commercial break, a couple road agent snuck up behind General Manager Titan as he was trying to peak into Heaven Lee’s changing room. He was surprised to see them and told them he was checking to make sure Ms. Lee had adequate lighting. They obviously didn’t believe him but told him something serious is going on. They said that the SIW European Champion C-Mac from Brawl was offering money to a Carnage superstar to jump ship before the Assault Rumble. Titan told him and a few other agents to hang around the locker rooms a lot more and to let him know if he hears any more news about the situation.

Tony “The Bull” Viction took on popular superstar James Muret in the next match. Muret got a near fall after delivering a swinging neck breaker but Viction kicked out. As Muret came off the ropes his left knee buckled and Viction capitalized by hitting a Tilt A Whirl Slam, then the Death Design Driver and pinned him to win the match. Viction celebrated with the crowd after the match and keeps continuing to prove he is one of Carnage’s elite.

Breakdown will be live in Laredo, Texas this Saturday. The SIW Lightweight championship will be on the line in a Five Way Match in which the champ will mock the fans by dressing as a cowboy and will even have his own horse. The Extreme title will be on the line in a first blood match between Dark Tiger and Metalgod. The main event is a triple threat tag team match between Angel & Bozzman, Airington & Armani and Bishop & Gateman plus many more matches.

The SIW North American Championship was on the line as Bozzman took on Armani Stylez. Bozzman was all over Armani and after countering a suplex into a back body drop Bozzman locked in the Bozzinator. Armani managed to break the hold and as he kicked out he pushed Bozz into the referee knocking him down in the process. Bozz continued on the offence and locked in the Bozzinator again but this time it was Airington that decided to show up and help his new friend. Airington hit Bozzman with the Airslam and put Stylez on top of him and slapped the ref a few times to wake him up. Stylez won the match to regain the title but this didn’t sit well with the fans that showed their unhappiness by throwing debris in the ring and chanted “bullshit”. They beat down Bozz after the match but none other than Duane Doogan came out to his aid. Bozz managed to fight back against Stylez while Doogan whipped Airington around in the ring and then sent him to the outside with a flying forearm. Bozz lifted Sylez on his shoulder and threw him out of the ring.

Christina York was scheduled to interview the SIW Lightweight Champion David O’Connor but he didn’t show up at the mini studio. She walked down the hall to his locker room and knocked on the door but no one answered. As she turned around, down the other end of the hall Ghost and O’Connor were battling. They pushed security aside and continued their battle all the way on the entrance ramp until more security rushed in to hold them back.

Brawl for All - For those that missed this week's Monday Night Brawl on the FX network.

“Indestructible” Ian Bishop made his entrance accompanied by referee Jaffar and was set to take on Angel in an “extreme” match for the SIW Heavyweight Championship. This match was sanctioned by he GM due to last weeks event where referee Wayne Cashmere decided to eliminated Bishop in a no DQ match and was also punished for it by getting beat to hell on Breakdown in a match against Bishop. Angel made his entrance but took off his gear and purgatory half way on the ramp and then ran into the ring and started the match before the bell rang. Angel pummeled Bishop in the corner with kicks to the head and then locked in a choke hold. Jaffar jumped on his back and Angel flipped him over his head and then leveled him with a leg drop off the ropes. Bishop executed the closeline from hell out of nowhere and then went to lock in the Judgment Sharpshooter but Angel broke out of his own maneuver. The battle became bloody with both men drawing blood from using various weapons including the ring bell. Jaffar and Bishop doubled teamed Angel and then Jaffar told him to hit him with purgatory while he held him from behind. Bishop swung but Angel moved and Jaffar received the guitar right in his face knocking him out. Brandon Gateman then came to the ring and joined in the attack. As Gateman and Bishop assaulted Angel, the SIW Tag Team Champions had seen enough and decided to come out to help the Heavyweight champion. Klubber and Sylk picked up Gateman in the air and shot him to the outside while Angel nailedBishop with the Atonement Spear and then the Salvation Splash. Jaffar was out but referee Wayne Cashmere ran out to count the cover and declared angel the winner and still SIW Heavyweight Champion.
