Carnage kicked off with the rematch between Rick Theodore and “The Street Kid” David O’Connor for the SIW Lightweight Championship. Ghost took on commentary during the match and reminded everyone that O’Connor will not get another shot at the belt as long as Rick is the champ. Late in the match, Theodore whipped David to the turnbuckles and then charged him with a corner splash and then delivered a DDT. Rick climbed to the top rope to deliver a swanton bomb but David moved at the last second. David then got out of the ring and attacked Ghost at the commentary table but soon later Rick jumped in and threw him back in the ring. The match came to an end after Ghost jumped on the apron to tell off O’Connor and Rick got a quick pin with an inside cradle to retain the championship. After the match, O’Connor said that Ghost will pay for what he did and then challenged him to a match next week. General Manager Titan then came out and said he agreed with O’Connor and called Ghost and Rick a couple of little cheaters. Titan then made a decision. Next week if O’Connor can defeat The Ghost, he will get a rematch for the title at Meltdown on pay per view. Before heading backstage, Titan added a stipulation that if anyone decides to show their face during the match, Ghost gets disqualified immediately.
Christina York caught up with “The Indestructible” Ian Bishop and Brandon Gateman. Bishop said that he will finally get the chance to destroy Sylk Walker and will rid Carnage of that monkey once and for all. York then reminded Bishop that Walker is one half of the SIW Tag Team Champions and will put up a fight. Bishop said it don’t matter because Sylk’s version of putting up a fight is not good enough. When asked if he regretted his racial comments and Bishop said absolutely not and if he was given the opportunity he would do it again. He said Liana and Sylk are just upset cause they can’t accept the fact that their minorities. The fans started chanting “Bishop Sucks” but Ian pretended he didn’t hear anything and suggested they were saying “Bishop Rules”. Gateman then grabbed the mic and told the fans to shut up and show respect to the “Indestructible” one. Gateman said that he dedicates his Heavyweight title win to none other than Bishop himself. Gateman said that in reality Bishop should be champ at this point in time and the match should be Gateman against Bishop, the two top guys on Carnage. Gateman said destiny was in full effect and he was going to make history later on Carnage when he defeats Angel.
One day before NuTz's birthday, former SIW Champion Duane Doogan and NuTz made their entrance but when Alcoholics Anonymous music hit a little midget who appeared to have tourettes syndrome came out instead of Airington & Stylez. He carried a “Doogan is my hero” sign to the ring. Doogan was flattered and went to give him a high five but NuTz warned him to be careful. Doogan said he was just a harmless midget. Doogan put out his hand and the little guy kicked him in the balls and bit a chunk off his arm. Moments later Airington and Stylez rushed out and the match got underway. Stylez and NuTz started the match while Doogan couldn’t keep his focus off the little midget who kicked him in the balls. Airington delivered a flying lariat and went for a cover but Doogan kicked out. Both teams came close to winning with several near falls but A.A came out victorious after the midget passed Stylez the money in the bank briefcase which he used to knock out Doogan behind the referee’s back and pinned him for the win. After the match, NuTz grabbed the briefcase and leveled the midget with it and then chased Airington and Stylez out of the ring.
Gavin Payne arrived at the Jack Breslin Events Center and was approached by General Manager Titan. They shook hands and Titan explained to him what an honor it was to have a former Heavyweight Champion on his side. Payne told him his worries were over and that everyone will be happy because he will lead Carnage to victory at the Assault pay per view.
The first edition of Jaffar’s Cave was introduced on the Carnage brand and his first guest was the returning “Sexy Slayer” Envy. Jaffar was quick to ask why she wasn’t married with ten kids and at home doing normal women things. Envy was nice about it and explained that in North America, women are treated as equal to men and have the same career choices as anybody else and she chose to be a professional wrestler. Jaffar said she was pathetic and he should do what he did to Michelle last week. Envy told him that he can’t get away with attacking women like that. Jaffar said he assaulted Michelle last week and no one is doing anything about it. Envy told him that it was wrong what he did. Jaffar asked her what she was going to do about it and she said nothing but someone was in the building to pay him a little visit. Out of nowhere, Michelle executed a face buster from behind and both Michelle and Envy kicked him down. Michelle locked him in a cobra clutch and it took six or seven road agents to pull her off.

Monday Night Brawl GM Greg Banks will take contractual matters into his own hands as he takes on Liana Lewis in a barbed wire steel cage match.
Titan came out to the ring and said that Carnage was without a champion at the rumble. He said that Brawl had Grunge as their champ and Carnage had no one. Titan said that will all change because Brandon Gateman was going to defeat Angel and become the new SIW Heavyweight Champion. Angel then came out and told him that he had a proposition. Angel said he had some scores to settle with Brawl and wanted to be in the rumble. Angel suggested that if he beat Gateman, then not only will he still be Heavyweight Champion but he will take Gateman’s spot in the rumble. Titan agreed after he realized that a champion was needed to represent Carnage at Assault.

Christina York held a special interview with former SIW Heavyweight Champion Gavin Payne. Gavin explained that he was away for a few months and it was good to be back on Carnage. York asked him if he ever got offers to go to Brawl and Payne said that Greg Banks had never contacted him about a contract. Gavin Payne said that he would never work on a second rate show anyway and Carnage is where he belongs. After cracking a few jokes about Matt Uzi’s sexuality, Gavin said he wanted his title back and it didn’t matter if Angel was the champ, Bishop or Gateman. Gavin said he will prove this Sunday that he is in the best shape of his life by leading Carnage to victory.
The next match was a brutal street fight between Ian Bishop and one half of the SIW Tag Team Champions Sylk Walker. This match was made due to racial slurs made by Bishop a couple of weeks back and Sylk wanted some payback. Sylk showed great emotion in the match and dominated Bishop. Backstage Sylk threw him around into the walls and then nailed him with a powerslam on the concrete ground. Walker went for a cover but Bishop kicked out at two. Sylk went for a closeline but Bishop picked up a steel pipe and hit Sylk right in between his eyes. Bishop found some neon lights and then whipped Sylk into them which cut him badly. Bishop delivered the Cyclone but moments later, World Tag Team Champion Natedawg and Liana Lewis assaulted him and dropped him with a double DDT on the broken pieces of glass. Sylk crawled through the glass and pinned Bishop to win the match. Natedawg and Lewis told Bishop to watch what he says from now on because they will be back if he talks shit again. They kicked him a few times before they evaded the Carnage security. Paramedics had to take Bishop out on a stretcher to a local hospital. It is unknown whether or not he will be able to compete this Sunday.
Breakdown will be live in New Castle, Indiana to present the SIW Supershow one night before Assault. The main event will feature SIW Champion Grunge taking on SIW North American Champion Armani Styles, World Tag Team Champion Natedawg and former SIW Heavyweight Champion Gavin Payne in a Fatal Four Way Inter-Brand Match.
After a commercial break, the main event for the SIW Heavyweight Championship got underway. Gateman and Angel engaged in a war instead of a wrestling match. Angel and Gateman locked up and Angel hit a shoulder block and then a reversed neck breaker. Angel hit an elbow in the corner and then Gateman came back with right hands and an elbow to his face which sent the champ to the outside. Gateman gave Angel a baseball slide and then hit a flying body to the outside. Midway through the match, Jaffar who wore a neck brace wheeled Matt Uzi out to ringside in his wheel chair for an unannounced appearance. The match continued while the self proclaimed “greatest one” looked on. Jaffar eventually jumped on the apron and distracted senior referee Sam Carter while Matt Uzi fooled everyone and got up from his chair and then busted Angel open with the Heavyweight title. Gateman capitalized on the opportunity and covered the champ to make history by winning the SIW Heavyweight Championship. After the match, the fans were disgusted with Uzi hitting Angel with the Uzi Piledriver and spitting in his face. Carnage ended with Gateman, Titan, Uzi and Jaffar celebrating in the ring.
