The SIW was live in Fresno for the first time at a sold out Save Mart Center. Christina York welcomed everyone and hyped up the 6 man tag team main event and also the wedding between H-Bomb and Mysery. She was soon cut off by Mohamed Abdul Sheik and his servant Jaffar. They told her to leave and then they called out Shelby Kirby. The General Manager came out but behind her was Polar. Polar rushed to the ring and Mohamed quickly retreated through the crowd but Jaffar was laid out by the Polar Express PowerBomb. Polar then announced that he went back to his old job as SIW Chief Of Security and justice will be served in the SIW. He will be on both Monday Night Brawl and Thursday Carnage as well as all the live events.
The Diva Tag Team match got underway as Christina and Envy took on former SIW Women’s Champion Olivia Danger and Liana Lewis. Midway through the match, senior referee Sam Carter got crushed when Envy whipped Liana in the corner but the match continued as an all out street fight. Carter managed to get back to his feet and Christina got the win for her team after hitting Olivia with the Goodie Kick and got the pinfall with the help of Envy holding her legs down from the outside. They kept fighting after match until officials broke it up. This war is far from over.
The SIW Tag Team Champion David Von Ramrock and his tag partner and SIW North American Champion Ryan Johnson arrived at the center and they were accompanied by Clover and Bernardo Williams. Christina York asked them about teaming up with Mohamed and they didn’t seem to pleased about it. Mike London then walked by and Rated X asked him to work with them in the main event and possibly join forces with Rated X. London told them he’d consider it and they’d find out his answer in the ring.
After footage of Zach Blain defeating Steve Bentley and The Bozz for the SIWA Heavyweight Championship at last Wednesday War, the next match got under way between Metalgod and the current undefeated SIW Lightweight Champion James Airington in a non-title pin fall match. The only way to win is to pin your opponent. Metalgod almost got the upset win after delivering the God Bomb but Airington managed to kick out at the last second. James kept his winning streak alive after he hit a DDT and then delivered the Airington Star Press. Jimmy Hayden mentioned that James was Mysery’s best man at the wedding later in the night.
“The Incredible” Ian Bishop was in the parking lot near Drako’s car. He was playing around with the brake line and then hid behind a pillar when he heard someone coming. A valet then went to park the car but couldn’t stop and smashed it into another vehicle because he couldn’t break. He was seriously injured but it’s obvious Drako was suppose to be the one driving. For several weeks these two have been playing games but this Sunday at Meltdown will be the final showdown for the SIW Extreme Championship.
After a commercial break, the next match got underway and it was a submission between Latesha and the SIW Women’s Champion Angelica Hunt. Last Monday Latesha went pretty low when she shoved Angelica’s face in dog shit and then slammed her car door on her legs. The champion was in great shape but Latesha took her to the limit. Latesha missed a closeline though and Angelica responded with a swinging neck breaker. Angelica got her payback after she locked Latesha in a Sharpshooter to make her tap out. Angelica got the win on Carnage but can she repeat it this Sunday when Latesha gets another chance and this time for her title?
The ring was nicely set up for the wedding between Mysery and H-Bomb. James Airington was indeed the best man and then they called out the groom. The TrevorTron then showed backstage footage of Mysery’s locker room and then his body was seen lying in a pool of blood. H-Bomb and Mysery’s family members were scared for him and where very concerned. Chief Of Security Polar found a note that said “See You at Meltdown”. Shelby Kirby promised everyone she would get to the bottom of this and punish the culprit as soon as possible.
Ramrock and Primetime teamed up with Mohamed Abdul Sheik and took on Inferno, Kirby and London in the main event. Ramrock and Primetime didn’t tag in Sheik at all. Inferno nailed Ramrock with a spine buster and then went to deliver the Meteor Drop but Primetime pushed him off to the outside. Mohamed threw him back in the ring but Inferno countered a Primetime DDT and tagged in London. Primetime went to hit London but then they shook hands instead. London tagged in Kirby and then pushed him in their opponents corner. The referee was out cold and after dominating the Authority Of Atlanta, Rated X and London beat the hell out of Mohamed. London nailed Sheik with the Spinal Trauma. As Rated X and London celebrated in the ring, Primetime and Ramrock leveled him with a double closeline. Just when Rated X thought they won and dominated the match, The Uncanny Inferno drop kicked Ramrock to the outside and Kirby nailed Primetime with the Thug Bug. The ref saw the A.O.A pinning Ryan Johnson and declared Kirby’s team the winning team as the show ended.
