The show starts with a Meltdown video recap from last Sunday at a sold out Wachovia Center. General Manager Greg Banks comes out and announces that next week were going to have qualifying matches to determine which three Carnage superstars will compete in the annual money in the bank at Wrestlefest. Banks says also later in the night, controversial superstar Dallas Nash will be in the building to sing a new contract to compete on Carnage
The first match of the night is a high profile non title match between Heavyweight Champion Maurice Bad and Duane Doogan. Maurice Bad is coming off an impressive win over Natedawg at Meltdown. Doogan avoids getting put in he Bad Lock by kicking the champ in the face. Bad sends Doogan flying across the ring with a belly to belly suplex and then clotheslines him out to the floor. Doogan regroups and gets back in the match and delivers the DooganDT in he middle of the ring. Doogan goes to cover but out of nowhere out comes Uzi and attacks Doogan. The referee calls the match a disqualification as Uzi viciously kicks Doogan down in the corner. Uzi puts a chair over Doogan's throat and then climbs the top rope. Fortunately security comes out to stop him from jumping
Cervantes cuts a promo with Jessica White after the match and seems amused by Uzi’s actions. Cervantes said at Meltdown, himself and Uzi had the Collision Course defeated and they know it. Cervantes says that if Uzi gives 100%, they will win the tag titles tonight
The SIW Lightweight championship is on the line as Zach Blain challenges Michelle who gets a nice ovation for her victory over Ashley Simpson at Meltdown. Blain dominates until Michelle uses her speed to avoid a corner elbow and then delivers a bulldog. Michelle surprises Blain with a backslide into a pin and uses the ropes for leverage and steals the win. Blain takes the title from the referee but then in a class act, hands it over to Michelle and raises her arm in victory
Darren “Direct Hit” Knight has been the talk of Carnage recently. The controversial star that started about a month ago squeezed his way to a Wrestlefest main event by winning Ryan Ford’s title shot at Meltdown. Knight cuts a promo and says that he has nothing but respect for the Heavyweight champion. Asylum shows up and tells him he better think of tonight and suggest he put his title shot on the line during their match. A confidant Knight agrees to put it all on the line
”The Assassin” Sonny Smith who will defend the North American championship at Wrestlefest in a triple threat against Grunge & Asylum takes on Scott Bastion in the next non-title match. Bastion leads the momentum in the match until Smith delivers a drop kick which sends Bastion to the outside crashing into the security wall. Smith takes the win via pin fall after delivering the Assassination in the middle of the ring
Wrestlefest 2007 will be held live from the Tropicana Field in Tampa, Florida on March 25, 2006. This sports entertainment spectacle happens only once a year and will include the superstars of Brawl and Carnage as well as the traditional hall of fame induction.
Mike “The Mic” introduces the new Carnage girls who dance at the top of the ramp with a spectacular light show. Out of nowhere Michelle comes out and soaks them with a can of yellow paint
Knight and Asylum battle in the next match with a Wrestlefest title shot on the line. Asylum hits Knight with the Breakout early in he match and covers but Knight kicks out. Asylum charges Knight in the corner but gets hit in the face with a kick. Knight clothesline him and applies a texas cloverleaf in the middle of the ring. Asylum struggles but reaches the ropes to break the hold. While the referee is out, Asylum hits Knight with the Fury Unleashed and covers with the crowd counting to six. Asylum wakes up the referee but out of nowhere Darren nails Asylum with the Direct Hit and pins him to take the huge win
Brawl For All - For SIW fans that missed Monday Night Brawl this week.
Dallas Nash is introduced for his contract signing with Greg Banks. After signing the contract, Banks shakes his hand and welcomes him back to Carnage but tells him coming back won't be that easy. Next week on Carnage he will have to win a gauntlet match to secure his spot on the roster
At Meltdown, Uzi & Cervantes battled the Collision Course for the SIW Tag Team Championship but the match ended in a controversial fashion with two referees in disagreement and general manager Greg Banks vacated the title till tonight were new champions will be crown in a triple threat match between Uzi & Cervantes, Collision Course with Michelle and Natedawg & Grunge with Gavin Payne. Referees Wayne Cashmere and Frank Wellington were relieved of their duties following that match. Doogan immediately attacks Uzi and the match starts. Nate let’s them weaken each other then jumps in. Nate powerslams Doogan and then nails Uzi with a snap suplex. Nate tags in Grunge and they double team Doogan and Uzi until Gateman & Cervantes get in the ring and all hell breaks loose. Senior referee Sam Carter gets the match back under control. Gateman hits Grunge with the BKO and covers but Gavin puts Grunge’s foot on the bottom rope to break the count. Grunge and Gateman battle on the entrance ramp and from the crowd is Drako who levels Gateman with the Democratic Kick. Back in the ring, Doogan double clotheslines Cervantes & Natedawg out of the ring and then levels Uzi with the DooganDT and covers him to win the match
After the match, Doogan attacks Grunge and Drako who have just annihilated his partner Gateman. Natedawg and Cervantes battle all the way into the crowd and Uzi pulls out a ladder from under the ring and uses it to smash Doogan’s skull. Doogan is busted open bleeding all over the entrance ramp. Uzi viciously punches the open wound as the show ends with security coming out to stop the chaos
