Carnage starts with General manager Greg Banks coming out to ringside and is greeted by a booing crowd. Banks says that last week he made an example of Natedawg and says he’s sick of being pushed around by the Carnage roster. Banks says that there is no one in the back that has more power than him and they will obey his orders. Banks is then interrupted by non other than the CEO of the SIW Trevor Derickson. Hardcore legend had a hard time accepting his loss last week and demanded a rematch for the lightweight title in his type of match, a ladder match. Metalgod uses the ladder early in the match and levels the champion in the head. Metalgod seems like a heavy favorite to win this one as the SIW veteran dominates. Cervantes is down and Metalgod climbs the ladder but instead of reaching for the title Metalgod jumps with a flying elbow but Cervantes moves and Metalgod lands in the canvas. Cervantes places the ladder in the corner and whips Metalgod several times into it. Cervantes places Metalgod on the ladder and climbs to the top rope and delivers a moonsault. Metalgod is thrown to the outside as Cervantes climbs the ladder and reaches the title to win the match and retain. Out of nowhere, Asylum runs out and attacks Cervantes and all hell breaks loose in the ring. They battle all the way backstage until officials breaks it up. The next match is a hardcore match between tag team/extreme champion Craig and Harkie which was hyped as non title match but TJD says that the SIW Extreme title will be on the line. As Harkie beats the hell out of Craig at the beginning of the match, North American champion Sonny Smith comes out to watch the match and joins Mike and Travis at commentary. Harkie sends Craig flying over the security wall with a suplex and assaults him in the crowd. Harkie grabs a fans wooden sign and smashes it over Craig’s head and covers but Craig kicks out at two. Harkie charges Craig on the second level of the arena but Craig clotheslines him and he falls to the first level and lies unconscious in a pool of his own blood. The fans start a “holy shit” chant and Craig covers him to take the win and retain the extreme title
After the match, Craig gets into Sonny’s face and claims he will become the first ever triple champion SIW history at Rampage. A fight breaks out but Cervantes comes out fast as he and Craig double team the North American Champion. After ambushing Gateman, Drako and Grunge continue to work as a team and take out Doogan with a double back body drop over the top rope and Doogan lands on Gateman and Darren Knight on the outside. Out of nowhere, Grunge levels Drako with the Grunganator and covers but Knight pulls him to the outside. A frustrated Grunge punches Knight in his nose and makes it bleed. From behind, Doogan levels Grunge with a reversed DDT. The referee gets everyone back in the ring except for Doogan and Gateman who keep battling on the outside. Back in the ring, Drako sideslams a weak Grunge and covers but a bloodied Knight jumps off the top rope and delivers an elbow to break the count.
