The very last episode of Carnage before the brand split took place at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Kevin “Titan” McColl started the program coming out to the ring and announced that his first draft pick was chosen. Before he could announce his choice, he was cut off by Kim Derickson who put him in his place. She said just because he bullied Greg Banks in a coin toss doesn’t mean he could cheat and draft before Monday. Titan told her to fuck off and that one way or another everyone was going to find out who his franchise player on Carnage will be.
Xtina was booed out of the arena as she took on former SIW Women’s Champion Angelica Hunt in singles competition. Late in the match, Angelica knocked Xtina down with a shoulder block and then went off the ropes and delivered a leg drop but it wasn’t enough to put away the #1 contender for the Women’s title. The ref was knocked down purposely from an Xtina closeline and Angelica capitalized by delivering the A-Bomb Drop so she couldn’t get the pin fall. As Angelica got the ref back to his feet, Xtina nailed her with the Goodie Kick and pinned her to win the match. Xtina warned Liana that Rampage is just four days away and that’s four days till she becomes champion.
Matt Uzi, his lawyer Gabe Nelson and his agent Karl Brooks arrived at the arena. Christina York got a few words from the former three time SIW Champion about what happen the night before with Rikki Cook and Angel in their triple threat match. Uzi said he let Rikki win because he deserved it. Uzi denied any alliance with him and said the only reason they teamed up was because they both hate Angel equally. Uzi and his cronies then walked down the hall to James Airington’s locker room and walked in without knocking and slammed the door behind them.
After a SIWA Wednesday War promo, Titan was talking with Rikki Cook in his office and told him to win the battle royal or else. Titan then called Ian Bishop and told him that he wasn’t getting his last pay check and if he had a problem to come to the ring and do something about it. Titan then slipped a set of brass knucks to Rikki.
The SIW Women’s Champion Liana Lewis took on Envy and Michelle in a triple threat non-title match. Michelle was the underdog but she dominated most of the match after she clipped Envy’s knee and nailed Liana with a DDT. She went for the pin but the champion kicked out. Envy and Liana Lewis double teamed Michelle and sent her out of the ring with a double closeline. Envy immediately elbowed Liana in her face. Envy hit her with a powerbomb and then went for the Green Envy. Michelle pushed her off the top rope but liana Lewis kicked her off the apron and pinned Envy after delivering Liana’s Flow. Xtina appeared from the crowd and pulled out a ladder but as she entered the ring, Liana kicked the ladder in her face and threw her out of the ring and cleaned house. Liana climbed the ladder and raised her arms in victory sending a message to Xtina for their ladder match this Sunday at Rampage 2005.
H-Bomb and Regina Todd came to the ring and addressed what the chief of finance Vette had to say on Monday about being paid for nothing. H-Bomb claimed to be the third highest paid superstar and that wasn’t going to change anytime soon. Vette cut them off and came out to the ring very pissed off. As Vette was yelling, a pregnant H-Bomb started stripping trying to seduce the big man but he spit in her face. All of a sudden Regina nailed him with a low blow from behind. Both divas left backstage leaving Vette in pain.
The next match was a tag team match featuring Matt Uzi and the undefeated James Airington against the SIW Champion Angel and the undefeated/SIW European Champion Khristian Call. Senior referee Sam Carter lost control in this match early and got knocked out. Uzi whipped Angel into the steel steps while Call drop kicked Airington out of the ring. Before Call hit Airington with a DDT, Uzi nailed him with the SIW title in the back of his head. The match ended when Angel had Uzi tapping out to the Judgment Sharpshooter but the ref didn’t know they were the legal men and counted James’ pin fall after delivering the AirSlam to Call. At the end, Airington broke Purgatory across Angel’s head and threw him out of the ring. Airington helped up Uzi and passed him a mic. Airington stayed in the ring while Uzi called out Rated X but all they got was Bernardo Williams. Bernardo told Uzi his last day alive will be May 29th because Rated X are back for his blood and they want his death.
Backstage, the SIW Tag Team Champions, Fake Enigma and Fake Vex cut a promo with Christina York. They said that the 20 superstars in the battle royal were lucky that the Deadly Alliance were not in it to kick all their asses. They showed off their titles and claimed that the world doesn’t need heroes and at Rampage they will start to eliminated all the bullshit in the SIW starting with The Super Patriots.
The O.C. were screwed big time by their immediate superior as he handed them their leaving papers. Titan and DA celebrated in the ring but they were soon interrupted by familiar entrance theme. It was none other than the super hero himself, The Uncanny Inferno. Inferno got a great crowd response when he announced that he accepted Glenn Kirby’s offer on reforming the Super Patriots. The A.O.A came out and the Pats demanded a title match. Titan told them not to get ahead of themselves and that they will get their match but only at Rampage since O.C and Beastiary wont be able to compete
