The SIW North American Champion Snake comes out at the beginning of the show live in Richmond, Virginia and addresses the rumors going around that without Alpha & Omega he’s nothing. Snake says the last time he checked he was the NA champ and A.P.B are just washed up and out of their prime. Snake then stupidly dares Vex to come out and he does carrying a Singapore cane which he uses on Snake. Vex strikes the NA champ several times and then all of a sudden Matt Uzi and Sonny Smith run out and attack Vex. The fans are going crazy as Vex takes them both on until security comes out to break up the chaos in the ring.
The first match of the night was a classic triple threat between Xander Morton, Brandon Gateman and the returning “Indestructible” Ian Bishop who was accompanied by the beautiful Michelle. Morton confronts Michelle during the match for using him a few weeks ago but out of nowhere Bishop hits him with a baseball slide which sends Morton into the security wall. Bishop turns around and then out of nowhere Gateman hits the BKO Gateman covers but Michelle puts Bishop’s leg on the bottom rope. Late in the match Bishop and Gateman work together and send Morton to the outside with a double clothesline off the top rope. Gatman dominates until Michelle distracts him on the apron and from behind Bishop rolls him up in a little package but Gateman reverses and steals the win. Gateman looks on as Ian and Michelle head backstage giving him the middle finger.

Christina York interviews Brandon Gateman and asks if this win was big heading into Summersonic. Gateman says it’s a huge win indeed and at Summersonic he’s going to prove that not even Ian Bishop can stop him from his goal at becoming SIW Heavyweight Champion once again. Out of nowhere, Bishop attacks him from behind and whips him head first into the cement wall. Michelle orders Bishop to hit the Cyclone on a metal crate and they leave Gateman unconscious as paramedics are called by a nearby staff member.
Vex and Snake took on SIW Heavyweight Champion Sonny Smith and Matt Uzi in the main event. Vex and Uzi tore the house down with a great confrontation. Vex drops Uzi with a running shoulder breaker and gets a near fall. Uzi avoids a clothesline and drops Vex with a spine buster and then quickly tags in Smith. Vex whips Smith to the ropes which knocks Uzi off the apron. Snake is tagged in and continues the match with Smith and Uzi thinks Smith pushed him off the apron.
