Carnage was live from Boston in a jammed packed Fleet Center and had former three time SIW Champion Matt Uzi coming out to the ring to start off the show. He claimed that he had a perfect career but he was missing something. He said that he won’t retire until he wins the SIW Heavyweight championship. Then the new champion Gavin came out and said that winning the title would be impossible because he could never beat the “Absolute Best” Gavin Payne. Before they got into a confrontation, the CEO Trevor Derickson came out and made a match at Global Warning between the two with the SIW Heavyweight Championship on the line to find out who was the very best on Carnage.
The SIW Lightweight Champion Envy and Michelle took on Olivia and Heaven Lee in the first match. Michelle got a near fall after delivering a Torso Flip but Olivia kicked out. After a few quick tags, Heaven picked up the win after delivering Heaven’s Fury to Michelle and got the pin fall. After the match, Envy and Michelle retaliated by attacking their opponents but officials broke it up before it got out of hand.
Right after the match, Christina York interviewed Carnage’s newest competitor "The Human Jet" Ryan Vincent . He said after watching Envy in the ring, beating her on Saturday for the SIW Lightweight championship will be a piece of cake. Don't miss TNC live in Auburn Hills, Michigan this Saturday.
After a promo for TNC Global Warning on PPV August 21 in Sidney, Australia, Travis Dunns and Mike "The Mic" announced the official release of Thursday Carnage Season 1 on DVD.
In the next match, NuTz defeated Metalgod and Tyler Osborn in a glass table match to retain the SIW Extreme Championship after sending Osborn through the table with a powerbomb. After the match, Metalgod, Pitbull and Renegade attacked the champion and left him unconscious in the middle of the ring after Renegade suplexed him on a ladder.
The SIW North American Champion “Red Hot” Rikki Cook arrived at the Fleet Center and was asked by Christina York if he was worried about Trevor’s announcement concerning his championship. Cook claimed to be the greatest SIW North American Champion of all time and guys like Ragin’ Craig and James Muret were out of his league. He said he was going to prove he should also be the heavyweight champion when he defeats Payne in the main event non-title match.
After a promo for SIW Wednesday War, Sylk "The Natural" Walker took on one half of the SIW Tag Team Champions Chimera in the next match in singles competition. After a hip toss to the outside, Chimera was attacked by Klubber until Dark Tiger jumped in. Chimera had the match as he called for The Down Fall, but as the ref was distracted by Klubber threatening Gabriella, Sylk leveled Chimera with a steel chair and pinned him to steal the win. At the end of the match, The Beastiary got their revenge after hitting Sylk with a double corner splash and Chimera nailing Klubber with The Down Fall.
Advertisement for SIW The Music: Vol 3 coming out August 8, 2005 was aired after a replay of the Summer Sonic PPV where Gavin Payne became the new SIW Heavyweight Champion.
As the interim Carnage GM and SIW CEO came out to make his announcement concerning the SIW North American championship, he was soon joined by Ragin’ Craig who believed that he should be the #1 contender since he should of won the match last week against James Muret. Zach Blain and Muret then came out and started arguing about the issue until the CEO came to a decision. Next week on Carnage, Ragin Craig will take on Zach Blain and James Muret in a triple threat for the #1 contender spot for the SIW North American championship at Global Warning.
After a commercial break, Mike “The Mic” hyped the debut of Bruce Lomond this Saturday as he takes on one half of the SIW Tag Team Champions Chimera in singles competiton. Carnage GM Kevin “Titan” McColl went public last week and stated that his new superstar is part of the Carnage future.
It was Champion against Champion in the main event between the North American champ Rikki Cook and the Heavyweight champ Gavin Payne. The two top champs of the brand performed a great back and forth twenty minute match. Cook dominated late in the match until he missed a drop kick and got nailed with a Knee Smash to his face in the corner. Payne won the match after delivering The Knock Out but received a cheap shot by Matt Uzi while celebrating. Uzi hit a low blow and delivered the Uzi Piledriver to the champion as the show ended.
