2005 was a great year for the SIW and the Carnage brand. Ever since the roster draft early in the year, many thought the company took a gamble but Carnage has prospered into a wrestling phenomenon and has been rated the top television program on cable. Travis Dunns and Mike “The Mic” covered the top five matches from the Carnage brand in 2005 but before they could start, they were interrupted by general manager Titan. The GM said that last week, due the incompetence of referee Wayne Cashmere, the no DQ, No Count out match between Bishop and Angel for the Heavyweight Championship was ruined after he disqualified Bishop. He said in the interest of fairness, next week on Carnage, Angel will face Bishop in a re-match for the SIW Heavyweight Championship in an extreme match. Also on Breakdown, Bishop will get a chance to get revenge as he takes on Cashmere in singles competition.

Match #5
Matt Uzi vs Gavin Payne for the SIW Heavyweight Championship
Global Warning August 21, 2005
Midway through the year, Matt Uzi and Gavin Payne came to a conclusion that Carnage was not big enough for the both of them. When Matt Uzi defeated Payne at Global Warning for the SIW Heavyweight Championship in Australia, it started a feud that lasted for months. Matt and Gavin still hate each other professionally and personally and will probably cross paths again in the future.

Bozzman made history when he defeated Styles, Gateman and Muret to win the SIW North American Championship live on PPV. Since winning that match, Bozzman has been the dominating force on Carnage and is heading into the new year as a one of the most important assets to the Carnage brand.

Match #3
Money In The Bank Ladder Match
Carnage in Tokyo August 11, 2005
Live from Japan, Carnage presented it’s first ever Money In The Bank 6 Man Ladder Match. To win the match, you must reach the briefcase which holds a contract to fight the SIW Heavyweight Champion at any time by climbing the ladder. James Muret accomplished this by defeating Matt Uzi, Zach Blain, Rikki Cook, Ragin’ Craig and Chimera. However at Road To Glory, Muret was put to the test and lost the briefcase to James Airington in a ladder match. Airington goes into the New Year with a guaranteed shot at the SIW Heavyweight championship.

A preview for Breakdown New Years Bash. Referee Wayne Cashmere goes one on one with "The Indestructible" Bishop. Original Diva Angelica Hunt will also be in action as she takes on Liana Lewis in a submission challenge.

Match #2
Carnage- Pitbull vs Matt Uzi - Tournament for the new SIW Championship
June 16, 2005
After the brand split, Titan decided that Carnage needed its own “major” championship since Greg Banks had the rights to the SIW Championship. He made a tournament and in one match we saw ultimate fighter Pitbull pin the “Greatest One” Matt Uzi to get a huge upset win. James Airington ended up winning the tournament and was crowned the first ever SIW Heavyweight Champion.

After a commercial break, Titan came out to ringside and said that on January 29, Carnage will prove once again that it’s the top brand in the SIW and has nothing but the best wrestlers in the world. He said that he chose his team for the Assault Rumble and called them all out.

Titan said in the ring was fourteen of the greatest wrestlers in the world and they will be representing Carnage at Assault. Mike “The Mic” said that he was missing the fifteenth member and Titan said he had everything covered and called out former SIW Champion Duane Doogan. Titan said that Bishop and Doogan must get along for the sake of Carnage or else he’ll kick both their asses himself. Titan said Doogan will be valuable since he’s been on Brawl and knows everything about Banks and the rest of those losers.

Brawl for All - For those that missed this week's Monday Night Brawl on the FX network.

Kyle Manson pushed Matt Uzi out on the entrance ramp in his wheel chair and handed him a mic. Uzi said that he is suing Angel for everything he has, his home, his boat, and even his guitar collection. He was interrupted by a member of Angel’s defense team telling Uzi he had bad news for him. He said that the judge threw the case out and closed it because there wasn’t enough substantial evidence for charging his client on grounds of attempted murder. As for his depression, the defense attorney told Uzi to by a box of Kleenex and stick it where the sun don’t shine. Uzi ordered Manson to attack him but out of nowhere, Angel pulled him off and delivered a DDT. Angel then pulled Uzi out of his chair by grabbing him by his hair but seconds later from behind, Bishop nailed Angel with an acoustic guitar and viciously kicked him down until security came out and held him back. Uzi was on the ground yelling at Angel telling him he is a dead man.

Match #1
Ragin’ Craig vs Ian Bishop – Road To Glory Finals
Carnage - December 15, 2005
Craig and Ian worked hard and managed to make it all the way to the finals which some say is the match of the year. The winner would face Brawl’s JD Stars at the pay per view. Craig overcame all the odds and defeated Ian and went to Road To Glory to beat JD Stars who was the SIW Hardcore Champion at the time. Since winning at the pay per view, Craig was stolen by Greg Banks and will use his title shot on Brawl to challenge for the SIW Championship.
