TWC Board Of Directors

Question - Why is there a Board of Directors?

In 1997 the sole owner of TWC, Jayse The Ace, was struggling to keep the organisation profitable.  The entire wrestling industry was in a lull and TWC looked like it was going under.  In stepped The Gladiator and King Crasher with a British national lottery syndicate windfall in their bank accounts and a clear intention to save the company.  Jayse The Ace had no option other than to sell a large portion of the company but was extremely weary of the intentions of Gladiator and Crasher.  Upon the suggestion of his business advisor, Jayse The Ace decided to sell 40% of the company to Gladiator and Crasher and sell 20% as shares.  This 20% was offered to people who had had a major involvement in TWC's history first and foremost, and therefore was split between many different parties.  However, when TWC is facing the prospect of a direction changing decision, the 20% share must be represented.  Therefore a board of directors was set up to make executive decisions on behalf of the shareholders.  In short, they have a financial interest in the future of the company.  Each director has been assigned a role within the company and is open to scrutiny at all times from his or her peers!

In the period of time since 1997 there have been many changes in the landscape of the ownership, the major points listed below.

- In 1997, TWC was 40% owned by Jayse The Ace, 20% owned by The Gladiator, 20% owned by King Crasher and 20% owned by shareholders.

- Jayse The Ace sold his 40% in 2004.  20% was sold to Cola Boy.  The remaining 20% sold to The Gladiator, enhancing his total share to 40%.

- Harold Gitt acquired Cola Boy's 20% after stiff negotiations involving King Crasher.

- In the same year Big Daddy Jason Berodt acquired Harold Gitt's 20% bringing us to the current situation.  King Crasher still owns 20%.

- Jayse The Ace is the honorary Chairman of the Board of Directors as proposed in the 1997 Agreement of Terms and Conditions of Change of Ownership.

- Big Daddy Jason Berodt as 20% owner tried to overthrow Jayse The Ace prompting a revote for a new chairman.

...therefore, the boardroom contains the following personnel.

CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD - HAROLD GITT - Newly elected Chairman of the TWC Board Of Directors.Elected in a coup by The Gladiator and King Crasher effectivly removing Big Daddy Jason Berodt from his position of power. Hates Big Daddy Jason Berodt with a passion and will do anything to distroy him. With the board and his allys Crasher and Gladiator, they control 80 percent of TWC now.

VICE-CHAIRMAN - JAYSE THE ACE / SLEDGEHAMMER SIMON / BRILLIANT BRIAN BRISBANE - These three gentlemen were put in place as vice-chairmen by the wrestlers of TWC.  They will speak on behalf of superstars and backstage staff alike to ensure that there is a balance of power with all the potentially corruptive elements that exist in the industry.

DIRECTOR OF FINANCE - ANGEL DEVYNE - It is thought that the young American, Angel, was only offered her place on the board because King Crasher did not want any messy divorce proceedings with his estranged wife, Angel.  She's a hot headed, devious lady who will scheme and scream her way to whatever she desires.

DIRECTOR OF COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY - TELL THE TRUTH TONY - Was the second president of TWC back in 1993.  Never wrestled but has worked in the journalistic and production side of the company.

DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC RELATIONS - DANGEROUS DANNY PLAYER - The original and the best play-by-play announcer in the history of TWC.  The Charter proudly cites this man as his main influence.  As with Jayse, Simon and Tony...he's one of the good guys.

DIRECTOR OF EMPLOYEE RELATIONS - PRIME MINISTER PETE NICE - Pete Nice has an uncanny ability to relate to most of the wrestling talent and the backroom staff and is a huge asset in a fickle company that needs to keep employee relations as a major priority.

DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS RELATIONS - ROBBIE REGAL - Discovered by King Crasher who worked closely with him in the mid 90s to enhance his career.  Regal takes care of the immediate future of TWC, i.e...booking shows and create pay per view ideas to capture the imagination of the American public eye.  Is noted for his opinionated stance on all subjects but enjoys calming down arguments by pointing out that it is a Friday night and that everyone just needs to relax and enjoy themselves.

DIRECTOR OF MERCHANDISING - THE CHUMPETTER - This colourful fun loving founder member enjoys his job overseeing the latest merchandise creations and their marketability.
