Ever since he made his debut appearance in October 1997 at In Your House: Badd Blood during the first ever Hell in a Cell match between Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, in which Kane attacked his "brother", leaving the Deadman easy prey for a loss to HBK. Since then, Kane has been both a hated heel and a beloved babyface, both with a considerable measure of success. As a heel, he held the WWE World Title. As a babyface, he has held the Intercontinental Title, the Tag Team Titles and the Hardcore Title. He has even gone as far as to name his fans the "Kanenites". His character has had an unbelievably dodgy past. For almost five years, he was a tortured soul who was horrifically burned in a fire that killed his parents. The fire was started by either him or Undertaker, varying from week to week. But now they tell us that ten years ago, when he was supposedly locked up and shunned from the outside world, he was instead going to wild parties with his girlfriend Katie Vick and had a driving license. Hmmmmmmm.......
