The Great American Bash 1996 was one of WCW's not so hot PPV cards. At this point in time, Liz is just settling nicely into her heel role. However, for some reason the bookers decided to throw Debra McMichael into the mix and Liz's role with Woman gets pushed to the side. Both Debra and Woman were more active than Elizabeth, making her role far less significant. Liz and Woman hassle Debra and Tara and eventually chases them to the backstage area. A little later in the match, Liz returns this time with a briefcase, Woman and Debra McMichael sporting a new dress. Debra uses the money to tempt Mongo McMichael into joining the 4 Horsemen. 

Liz would only appear twice more at PPV with the Horsemen. Obviously the WCW writers realized that her impact had been compromised with the inclusion of Debra. By the time Fall Brawl came around, Liz had been written into the new nWo story lines and would be soon reunited with Macho Man Randy Savage.
