WCW Circa 2000 When one thinks of the exact moment WCW killed itself, THIS HAS to be at the top of the list. In 2000, WCW Superstars were featured in a B level movie called "Ready 2 Rumble." The movie starred David Arquette and some other loser, in which they were mega WCW Fans, who loved a fictional wrestler named Jimmy King, who's gimmick was that he's a king. The movie, horrible on it's own, but it didn't stop there. WCW actually brought David Arquette into WCW arenas for God knows what reason. Arquette, in later weeks would be insulted by Eric Bischoff constantly, and a feud came out of it. Only it wasn't 1 on 1, they recruited DDP and Jeff Jarrett to their sides. In The Single dumbest idea of all time, they made this a World Title Match, Arquette included....
And he pinned Eric Bischoff for the title!!!!!!! Oh God, the sky has turned BLACK. This, probably the worst thing WCW could do, they did and Arquette will forever be known as a former WCW Champion. But that wasn't all, he actually defended the title... successfully that is, and kept it around his waist for a few weeks. At Slamboree though, Arquette turned on DDP and Jarrett was once again the World Champion, thankfully. Although he hung around for the next show or 2, Arquette was just terrible. His mic work was even worse then this idea. But not as bad as that Jackie, someone who SUPPOSEDLY won Tough enough 2. But just remember, whenever you think about the worst storyline in wrestling ever, you'll be thinking of this... (Credit to Wrestlecrap.com for the pictures)
