WCW Circa 1995 Poor Barry Darsow. After just suffering from a, in so many words, bombed gimmick as the Repo Man in WWF, old Barry tried his luck in WCW, hoping to gain the fame he had as Demolition member Smash. Don't Remember him still? Well, maybe you need to see him with makeup....
Yup, the Blacktop Bully was Smash. Anyway, it started with Col. Robert Parker and his stud stable having a stretched out feud with "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes. Anyway, one day Blacktop Bully showed up and beat the hell out of Rhodes. It appeared that he was just released from prison. His gimmick was basically a truck driver with a foul mouth who liked to toot his Truck's horn a lot during the promo's of him that aired. No wonder why that was put into....THAT...match. The Bully made only 2 PPV appearances. First was defeating Dustin Rhodes at Superbrawl V (A godawful PPV in the least.) The 2nd changed a lot of things. I can't believe I have to say this but it was at Uncensored 1995 in the absolute worst PPV WCW made since GAB '91, a King of the Road Match. Both men ended up blading, and since WCW had the no blade policy, both men were fired. Dustin Rhodes became Goldust, and well..........Darsow disappeared back to the Indies for a few years, until WCW once again came a calling, only this time he was repackaged as....
BARRY DARSOW, THE EVIL GOLFER!!
