Wilson Middle School, in Wyandotte, MI, Started their wrestling program in 1990. It was Headed by Micheal White. He continued to build the program and retired from coaching wrestling in 1994. Scott Galeski took over the program till 1999, when he stepped the program was taken over by Brett Greene. 2002 Wrestling season was headed by Coach Jason Carpenter, Mike White, and Dave Lustig. There season was very successful. They entered two varsity teams in two sepreate divisions. In the Mega Red Division Tournament they placed third and in the Mega White they placed second. The 2003 Season will be in the hands of Coach Aaron Greene, Richard Glodowski, Mike White, and Dave Lustig. Godd Luck to them!
This Program has been very successful in the past accumilating at least 6 undefeated seasons, and two league championships.
As of right now the feeder program at the junior high is at an all time High. Last years team consisted of 55 athletes, and had almost 2 full teams with plenty of extras. This year becasue of high numbers we will take a step forward with hopefully competeing two different varsity teams.
