Praying?? Yeah, praying! It is a great way to incorporate your spiritual path into your everyday life. Thanking the God and Goddess for all the gifts you have been blessed with can only improve your life. You'll find that the more you communicate with Them, the more open you become. Once you are completely open, anything is possible.
One thing I have learned is that the best prayers are the ones that come from the heart. It doesn't really matter what you say as long as you are speaking with the God and Goddess. Many people think that a prayer is only effective if it sounds like poetry. But the same holds true for praying as does rituals... your best work is something that you created and something that you truly mean.
Now if you are anything like me, you probably don't have a creative bone in your body. So what I do, is I use other people's prayers to get ideas for my own. I don't "steal" anything (can we say KARMA), but reading other people's prayers can help me get into the creative mood for creating my own.
