Pictures

Pictures add to lots of pages of this site. With every review there now is a picture. Also there will be pictures by news in the future if possible. Good example is the arcade game. Let me know what you think of this change, mail to raaroza@wxs.nl .

New Character page add

A new page has been add to the list on the left. On this page you will find info about all the main characters from the Spawn comic. Newer characters and characters from spawn spin-offs will be add later on. So stay tuned for further progress !

The page : https://www.angelfire.com/wv/Stijnpage/characters.html

Spawn's Angels : a spawn message board page

Spawn's angels is a group of people who visit the Spawn message board much too often and have no social lives and well... I just admit it are a bit nuts. The members of this extraordinary group of people can be found on the Spawn message board ( mostly on the misc. section ) or on their page : http://www.fortunecity.com/victorian/summit/1008 . You can even join the club, if you are up to it !

And I am not only advertising this group, I am also a proud member !

Spawn on the Arcade

Capcom's Spawn is Hellishly Good Finally, a videogame that does Todd McFarlane’s popular comic, Spawn, justice! The Naomi board arcade title from Capcom is an internet-compatible 3D action fighting game that puts Sony Interactive’s Spawn: The Eternal to shame. This game, due out in Japanese arcades this fall, is separate and distinct from Spawn: In The Demon’s Hand, which will be out for the Dreamcast in Japan this winter.

Many of the characters from the comic, including Spawn, Twitch, Sam, Clown, Cogliostro,

Brimstone, Grace, Tiffany, Redeemer, Tremor, and J-Priest. The characters fight by either punching or kicking, or in some cases, shooting. Players can toggle through their weapons to use (which differ for each character), and lock onto their opponents with a convenient “Lock-On" system. The point of view can be easily changed with a simple tap of the camera button, which is fundamental in checking whether or not an opponent is behind you! There are obstacles for you to either duck behind or jump on top of to avoid attack, too.
Three modes have been revealed so far: Battle Royale Mode, Team Battle Mode, and Boss Attack Mode. The winner of Battle Royale Mode is whoever finishes off the most characters to receives the most points. Team Battle is essentially Tag Team fighting, without the necessity to tag in. You and a partner (or partners!) fight another team for supremacy in the ring, and can obviously watch each other’s back in the process. Boss Attack Mode, which
is only against the computer, pits you against every single boss in the game. Up to four players can play the first two modes on a single arcade machine, and with Internet connectivity, the possibilities are endless!

Email from Joel Thomas

I recieved an email from Joel Thomas (penciler / inker Cy-Gor).
He read the review and told me what he thought of it, he also told something about the futur plans of Cy-Gor ! Well, here is the email :

Joel Thomas here. I just wanted you to know I agree with your review. Thanks for the views on my work. I think with issue 4 on you will like things a bit more. I am still getting the look for the book down. The drawing style I am doing now is a vast change from how I usually draw. In issue 4 and on you will see much more detail and not quite as thick a line. I'll admit, issue 3 is my least favorite. I just didn't do it justice. Still I think the general view for the series will improve greatly as time goes on. Rick and I are working well now and have ironed out the newness of our working relationship
so expect each page and each issue from now on to keep getting better !

And remember you read it right here at Rat City !
