Hello my friend from "Stacy's Place" just started a "Recipe Tree". She gave me this idea for a Friendship Floss Tree from it. This is just for fun. It's a great way to make some new friends from across the world and get a few skeins of floss in the process.To participate, just copy and paste the info below and change the addresses as needed.
This is a Frienship Floss Tree. There is no money involved except the cost of the one skein of floss you send and postage. In return you should receive a total of 196 skeins of floss and hopefully a few new friends.
Please send a skein of DMC Floss to the top person at the bottom of this page along with a little note telling a little about yourself.
Copy this letter and send it to six different people. Please sent letters to fellow cross stitchers you think would like to join the fun! You can e-mail or snail mail it. DO NOT SEND THEM A SKEIN OF FLOSS, JUST A COPY OF THE LETTER WITH YOUR CHANGES!!
Only three names should appear at the bottom of the letter that you send. Remove the top name and move the 2nd name to the top and third to the 2nd spot, then put yours on the bottom.
It should be interesting to see where the the skeins of floss come from. You should recieve 196 skeins of floss and 196 letters if everyone sent to participates. The only cost to you is one skein of floss and postage. You can e-mail your 6 letters or send them snail mail. After 2 months please let me know how many skeins of floss you received.
