Here is where you can apply for my awards. I personally check out each page that has been submitted for these awards and decide if the page is up to my expectations to recieve the particular award. There are a couple of rules (don't panick though) in order for you to be considered for any awards:

• First the obvious...you have to have a web page (personal pages only...no business)

• Your page HAS to be "fantasy" based (ex: Dragons, faries, goth, vampire, magic, etc.). The only exception to this rule is the Golden Dragon's Lair Award which can ONLY go to Dragon Pages (Dragon Lairs).

• Your Fantasy page can't have anything pertaining to violent action towards Dragons espicially (ex: hurting, killing, mauling...etc.) and can't be about violent actions toward real or ficticious people (ie. no racism, no knight bashing, no unicorn hunters, etc.)

• You have to show that you have put forth effort on your page...if I don't feel you put forth ANY kind of effort you won't get my award (I worked hard on my page so can you).

• If you use graphics, GIFS, or backgrounds that aren't your own work (and absolutely DON'T take credit for work that is not your own) then give credit to the person whose work it is, either on a credits page or links page (if you don't know who's work it is than state that you don't know). I only give out awards to honest Dragons.

• Last but not least, you must link your award back to my page so that others have a chance to win my awards. Here is the html code to use: https://www.angelfire.com/wv/bluedragon/index.html .

• Make sure that all of your links work.

• I love Dragon and fantasy graphics...so if you have a couple than that's simply marvelous.

• Make sure that you give credit to the people who made the graphics (if this applies). As with all awards I only give them out to honest Dragons.

• I do expect you to have more than 5 pages (NOTE: this doesn't mean a load of links-only pages)

• I do expect to see at least a little bit of originality in your page...where you place things and how things are arranged, etc.

• I'm definately looking to make sure that ALL of your links work.

• I don't like to wait forever and a day for graphic-heavy pages to load (if you do have a few graphics let me know that I'm going to be waiting a little bit while the page loads).

• I'm not too fond of frames (the're very rarely done nice) so unless you have a killer looking set of frames don't apply for this award YET.

• Original graphics (ie. graphics that you made yourself) are ALWAYS a plus...but I know first hand how hard it can be to make your own graphics (and if you don't have a scanner it's REALLY hard) so at least use the graphics on your page in a unique manner...(I don't want to see a page like everyone else's).

• I do like to see all kinds of themes but don't over do it (ex: my page is the Blue Dragons Lair so a lot of my backgrounds are blue but I'm trying not to over do it so I through in a little color every once and again).

• I really get frustrated when I get lost in a page so please leave some kind of way out (ex: on almost all of my pages there's a link to my other pages). NOTE: you don't have to have links to ALL of your pages but don't let them be a continuous line of pages with no way out.

• I LOVE to see originality and creativity on pages. I like to see a little bit of your personality on your page and that you're proud of the hard work that you've put into it.

• Like I said earlier...You can ONLY apply for this award if you have a Dragon Page.

• You must have already won the Blue or Gold Fantasy Excellence Award in order for you to be applicable. NOTE: Just because you won the Fantasy Excellence Award does not mean that you will win the Golden Dragon's Lair Award.

• ALL of your links have to work.

• Your page MUST be original.

• ALL of your graphics must be credited to the artist (if it's not you; give credit...if it is you; take credit!).

• You MUST have an adopted Dragon from someplace on your site.

• Poetry or original story lines for your dragons will help you out immensly.

Ok, here's how it works. Above you'll find samples of the awards (NOTE: There is only a sample of the Bronze Fantasy Excellence Award. The awards get slightly bigger as you get a higher award and the colors change for the type of award as well). Fill out the form below and click the "send to Blue Dragon" button at the bottom (please make sure that you type your e-mail address and page URL correctly: if I can't get to your page you won't get the award). I'll then take a look at your page and if you won you'll receive an e-mail from me saying where you can pick up your award. If you don't hear back from me then you did not get it. If I really liked your page though and with a little work you could win the award then I'll more than likely send you mail telling you what I really liked but what I think can be improved upon.
