Carveboarding.com: When was the first time you rollerbladed?
Jon: I actually skipped right over the rollerblades, and went straight to
the razor! You should see me on one of those bad boys....

Carveboarding.com: The best trick you can perform (skate or otherwise)? Jon: Tube ride, snappers, tight hits on a carveboard. Carveboarding.com: Any celebrity lookalikes? Jon: Michael J. Fox. Carveboarding.com: Do you have any rituals? Jon: I acquired the 'Chant of Cali' from Ted Shred a few years ago. I swear it brings bigger waves! Carveboarding.com: Any other interests besides Carveboarding? Jon: Music, Music, Music. Live Music, Surf, Downloading Music, Surf, and Trading Music. Carveboarding.com: What's the worst accident you've been in? Jon: Hard to say... Could be when I broke the windshield of a snowmobile with my face and gave myself a nice scar, or when I shattered my thumb skating and had to get pins put in my hand. If not those, then any of the times that I've gotten road rash from downhilling. Damn, that sucks!!! Carveboarding.com: What's the longest you've gone without changing your boxers? Jon: Probably a week while camping in Mexi. Carveboarding.com: What's the best trip you've been on? Jon: Hard to pick, but Ted Shred and I flew to an Island in Mexico and scored some really fun surf all to ourselves. The lobster and rental car(?) were cheap, but the beer was super expensive. There's some photos of it in the surfing section, but I can't tell you where it is. Hint: it's between Tijuana and Guatemala. Carveboarding.com: Do you have a favorite quote? Jon: This might hurt a bit. Carveboarding.com: What's your religious stance? Jon: Karma Carveboarding.com: What will the future be like 25 years from now? Jon: Carveboard parks everywhere because it's too polluted to surf. Carveboarding.com: Do you buy gear from a core skate shop or a sporting-goods store? Jon: I do most of my shopping Online. If I do go to a store though, it's usually a core shop. Carveboarding.com: What do you do (job-wise)? Jon: Business Development for a software start-up, I run Carveboarding.com, and I'm starting a massage business. Carveboarding.com: If you had one charity, what would it be? Jon: Surfrider - Even though it would be awesome to have Carveboard parks everywhere, I don't want to be chased out of the water by hypodermic needles.
