Collins:Former roommate of Roger and Mark, and a professor of 'Computer Age Philosophy' whose students would rather watch t.v. He meets Angel after being mugged and after discovering both of them are HIV+, they hit it off.
Benny:Another former roommate turned landlord of Mark and Roger. He married a woman named Allison and changed drastically. He wants to destroy "The Lot" where many poorer people live.
Jo Anne:She's a successful lawyer and Maureen's current girlfriend, one who is easily bossed around by her significant other.
Angel:A drag queen who finds and helps Collins on the street after he was mugged. Angel is a kind of peacemaker among the group and one who really knows how to live life to the fullest.
Mimi:She knocks on Roger's door asking for a light for her candle. There is some chemsitry between the guitarist and the Spanish exotic dancer. They start up a rocky, jealous relationship.
Maureen:Jo Anne's headstrong, bossy, actress girlfriend who puts on a protest to save the Lot from Benny's destruction.
