11th
Virginia Cavalry Regt. Company F
We are a reenactment group based in Barbour
Country, West Virginia. We are twenty-two horses strong
with many dismounted. We do reenactments throughout West
Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia. We started
in 1993 by doing a local town a favor by riding in the parade
during a Civil War history event called the Blue and Gray in
Philippi, West Virginia. Since then we have grown into what
we are today. We still like to see new faces in our unit so
if you would like more information please email us at patton@neumedia.net

The Battle of Laurel Hill
This is a battle that we sponsor in conjunction with the Belington CVB on the third weekend of July. Camp Laurel Hill was built outside of Belington, West Virginia to protect the Staunton/Parkersburg Turnpike Northern Invasions. After the Philippi Races the troops stopped here. The reenactment is held on the original ground complete with a cemetery where confederate soilders were buried.
A Message from the Builder
We are far from completing this page. I am hoping to add
pictures of different reenactments from the last three years
along with a history of our unit. I will expand on how we
got started plus much more. If you have a comments,
tips or a bit of history to share, please e-mail me.
