HEAVEN'S METAL IS ON THE AIR!

FINALLY! After much wait, Heaven's Metal is on the internet broadcasting. Many people have asked me over the past few years "when is your show gonna be on the internet?" or "is your show on the internet?" Sadly I've had to say no to both questions, TILL NOW!

On 2/10/2000 (a Thursday) I was getting frustrated that I had this hardware (Shoutcast) on my computer but didn't know how to use it. So after sitting at my computer a few hours before having to get ready for work, I began looking at the hardware and reading the "read me" files plus helpful info at both Shoutcast.com and Live365.com. I didn't get things up and running that day. I knew I was on my way but there was something I couldn't figure out.

On 2/11/2000 (Friday) I started reading again. Well to make a long story short, I'm now broadcasting Live on the internet. I don't have a microphone to use so I can talk but my mother has said that she would by me one and I know where to get the applications on the internet to use it.

I've decided that show time will be Saturdays from 8PM to Midnight starting Feburary 19th.

Here are the dates for the Saturday broadcasts.

JULY 15, and 22
AUGUST 5, 12 and 26
SEPTEMBER 2, 16 and 23
OCTOBER 7, 14 and 28
NOVEMBER 4, 18 and 25
DECEMBER 9, 16 and 30
HOW TO REQUEST SONGS

I have opened up a new email account just for requests. This is so if I don't have an mp3 of the requested song, I'll have it by the next time Heaven's Metal airs on the net. Send all your requests to heavens_metal_song_requests@hotmal.com.

You can post your requests on The Heaven's Metal Song Request Board at any time during the week.

I now have a chat room that everyone can use. You can talk about the songs that are being played and even vote for 'em. Heck if you want I'll play a song that you request if I have an mp3 of it, cause I'll be in the chat room during the broadcasts taking requests. And if I don't have an mp3 of it I'll try and get one. The Url for the chat room is http://beseen3.looksmart.com/chat/rooms/z/13466. I'll usually be in there taking requests when I'm broadcasting. In the future there will be a few more ways to vote on songs and make requests.

Now for a very important note to the record companies.
If you see a song listed on the playlist by one of your bands and you do not want me to play them, just email me at my account for song requests and I'll remove their mp3 immediately!
