Hi Everyone! My name is Precious Pup and I'm the Angel of this cloud.
When I first came to live here on my special cloud there was already an
Angel Poodle living here but she soon moved over and I was in charge.
When Mama Pat first cuddled me she said, "Oh how precious!"

And from that day Precious was my name!

I remember the first time I got loose. It had snowed alot and it had started
to melt. Mama Pat decided to trust me and put me out the door without my
leash thinking I would go in the back yard. Well guess what? I decided to
go visiting instead of going into my fenced in yard.

Let me set the picture for you. Mama Pat had stayed home that morning
because she was sick and running a temperature. She called me back and
I have to admit that it was tempting to be obedient but I keep on going. So
picture me bouncing throught each puddle of melting snow and Mama Pat
right behind me in her bare feet with a bright burgandy robe on that was so
long it was dragging the ground. No makeup and her hair was a mess. Not
a pretty sight for so early in the morning.

At first she sounded so sweet but eventually I heard her say,"Precious,
I'm gonna murder you when I get my hands on you!" I knew I was in trouble
then so decided to head for the house. As Mama Pat went to grab me, I dodged
her and she ended up sitting in the middle of the road talking to herself. I
never did tell her about the neighbors that had watch the whole thing. Would
you believe she still puts my leash on me to take me in and of the house? But
that's ok. I know when she does that, she loves me and doesn't want to take
a chance of me getting hit by a car.

I'm getting old now. I have had surgery for cancer but so far I'm doing great.
Do you remember the angel poodle that I mentioned earlier? Her name was
Snowball and she was the sweetest thing. She got cancer too. First of all they
removed her eye and she did fine for several years. I'm sure I got on her
nerves but she was still like a mom to me.

Before I came along she had two baby puppies. One died before it was a year
old and the other one died of cancer when he was thirteen. Mama Pat was so
protective of her but she never had her spayed. She never had anymore
babies but she later had to be put to sleep because her cancer came back. I'm
so glad I was there for Mama Pat. She was so sad but she realized that I
needed to be spayed. I think she felt that if I had the surgery I might not
get cancer plus we didn't need more baby puppies running around. I am a
special cocker spaniel with papers but mama knew that it was better to have
me fixed. She said there were to many little kittens and puppies needing homes
without me adding more to the world. The sad thing was that I ended up having
cancer too. But once they operated on me I've been fine.

Come back and visit me again and I'll tell you the story about a storm brewing
at my house several years ago. We had a white poodle called Snowball, a white
cat called Rain, a white duck called Thunder and a white mouse called O Hail.
And they lived happily together under one roof.

PRECIOUS PUP WAS PUT TO SLEEP APRIL 2, 2003.
WE'LL MISS YOU GIRL!

PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE!

If your going to have a pet please have it spayed so we won't add to the number
of puppies and kittens that are being put to sleep because there aren't enough
homes for all of them. We want to be your friend but there are so many of us
now but not enough homes for us to stay with you. And if homes can't be found
for us then they have to put us to sleep.

Here's a special story I found for my Mama in memory of her little angel poodle.
If you have lost a special furry friend this story will be special to you too.

RAINBOW BRIDGE

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet
goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special
friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water
and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who
had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt
or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our
dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except
for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had
to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops
and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body
quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green
grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet,
you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy
kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and
you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from
your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
