Horoscopes
by Steffani-Amber
*Aries (March 21-April 19)
Family life is the good life. The full moon brings out a need in you to have some quality time with your parents. This could happen while you're doing something fun with them, such as going to a holiday show or driving around to see the holiday lights. This energy helps put you in touch with how much you value your family -- no matter how much you may disagree with them on certain things. You are learning what is truly important in life.
*Taurus (April 20-May 20)
The full moon in your third house of communication gives you the opportunity to logically examine your feelings. You can pull back from any emotional intensity going on with you and see things more objectively. Hogging the family phone or staying in chat rooms 24/7 while you discuss the intimate details of your problems could be tempting. Steer away from gossiping. Stick with examining your own feelings and you'll get the most out of this full moon.
*Gemini (May 21-June 21)
The full moon in your second house of possessions may find you feeling quite attached to something materialistic. If you become upset or possessive about money (or an object you value, such as a holiday gift), figure out what it represents to you. Style? Uniqueness? Power? Coolness? Whatever it is, just add it to your self-awareness inventory. A conversation or interaction with someone may inspire you to explore your creative talents with more confidence.
*Cancer (June 22-July 22)
No one responds to full moons as much as you do, and this Full Moon happens while it transits the sign of cancer. Translation in your behavior today just might reinforce the popular opinion that you are moody. The mood swings will be much less extreme if you can get in touch with what you need, however. Your feelings are the key. Lonely? Then be around loved ones. Confused? Then talk it out. Frustrated? Go on a long walk, or take some other form of exercise. Take care of you.
*Leo (July 23-August 22)
The full moon in your twelfth house of the subconscious could make this day quite different and interesting. Your hidden phychic abilities will be sparked into action. You may have intense dreams or just uncannily accurate intuitive feelings. Either way, pay attention to the information that you recieve from within. You might want to spend some time alone, away from all the holiday stress, to write a poem, compose a song, or just think.
*Virgo ( August 23-September 220
You're totally psyched up about your future and, better yet, you can see things clearly today. The full moon in your eleventh house of the future gives you the positive feeling that absolutely no one and no thing could stop you from success. The rain is gone. It's a good day to plan your goals and desires for 2000. Even if there's snow outside, think sunshine.
*Libra (September 23-October 22)
The Full Moon in your tenth house of authority figures means that you may have big emotional responses to the actions of adults. Your parents are the most likely touchstones for feelings ranging from anger to compasion. You may also feel a little more needy for their attention. If this is the case, admit it, rather than trying to intellectuallize that need. Your best bet may be to plan some time to have a good talk, play board games, or just hang out with your folks.
*Scorpio (October 23-November 21)
You have the ability to see tha big picture of your life, under the influence of the Full Moon in your ninth house of higher beliefs. This is a very spiritual vibe, so take advantage of it by thinking of where you want to go in 2000. Write down your goals and ideas, as well as the ways in which you want to reach them! Talk about your heart-of-heart dreams with your friends; they may inspire you to come up with some wildly creative ideas about making them come true. Have a thunderous brainstorm or two.
*Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)
The energy created by the Full Moon in your eighth house of transformation gives you psychological insights into yourself and the deeper mysteries of life. You'll find yourself eager to demonstrate the expanded understanding and spiritual knowledge you have gained. Look for opportunities to create positive changes in yourself. Today, even though it's the holiday break, school is still in session -- the school of life that is. Take notes, okay Sagittarius???
*Capricorn (December 22-January 19)
The Full Moon in your opposite sign of Cancer means that everyone around you seems to be having one of those days. You may be the one your family members and friends turn to when upset, so be prepared to deal with their strong emotions -- and quite possibly their tears. Try not to get caught up in the trap of feeling like you must solve their problems. You don't have to be anyone's savior to be a good friend and a loving family member. Just let them lean on your strong shoulder for a moment and give them a hug. They'll feel much more grounded just from being around your earthy energy.
*Aquarius (January 20-February 18)
The Full Moon in your sixth house of service makes you more attuned to meeting the needs of others. You want to help, but perhaps from a safe distance. You'd rather dole out intellectual advice to friends and family than get involved in their feelings. It just doesn't make sense to you when people won't take logical steps to solve their problems. The thing to avoid under this celestial influence is tp allow your desire to help turn into criticism. Try to just listen and be there.
*Pisces (February 19-March 20)
The Full Moon in your fifth house ofself-expression gives your ability to communicate a big boost right now. This is a good time to let someone know what your most tender feelings are -- without the danger of misunderstanding. The natural artist in you is moved to create works of genius under this celestial vibe. You will pour your heart and soul into whatever you do today. Write poetry, paint, create computer art, or spend time with your inspiring sweerheart. Love, emotions, and creativity flow forth with ease.

Being Yourself is Important
By Theresa

Everyday I am faced with the decision of if I want to follow or if I want to lead. I think everyone is faced with that decision. I am a leader.
Being such a person means doing what you want, not what others tell you to do. It may also mean not pushing things onto other people. Being different in good, especially today when society is made up of a bunch of people copying off of the person standing next to them. I am not afraid to stand out.
I express this in how I act and what I choose to wear. I am not afraid of people laughing at me or not liking how I look. Besides if they have a problem with the way I look they don't have to look at me.
Just because someone wants to be in the "in" crowd they will change their appearance and the way they look, guess what, the system just sucked up another potential leader.
Don't be afraid to stand out. Don't be afraid to be yourself. If you are yourself people will get to know you better. Now I'm not saying not to go out and buy that shirt that you liked just because you saw somebody at your school wearing the same one, all I am saying is to not be afraid of dressing different sometimes. Make that fashion statement. Don't let anybody stop you from doing what you want to do.
Be true to yourself becase in the end, you might be all you may have.
