The CDC Manpower Skills Development & Service Center (MSDSC)
The CSEZ-MSDSC is continuously growing as a skills training institution. Starting off in 1995 with a meager inventory of high-speed sewing machines and housed in a post-World War II building, the first batch of mostly young trainees from resettlement areas initiated a precedent in paving the way for less fortunate individuals to equip themselves with an alternative source of livelihood. Four years have passed; the training center progressed to offer more training courses other than high-speed sewing. The generosity of local government officials, Mount Pinatubo Commission, the CIAC Maiden Flight Committee, Innovators Batch of Holy Angel College and the German Development Service enabled us acquire machines and equipment for the metal workshop and the renovation of our facilities as a venue for the conduct of various career development courses.
