Punch Bowl Cake

Cake Mix - any flavor
Mix according to directions and bake in 9" x 13" pan, cut in thirds.

Pudding - any flavor (3 lg. or 4 sm. boxes)
Make according to directions on package.

Bananas - 4-6 (sliced)

Cool Whip (3 lg. or 4 sm. containers)

Crushed Pineapple - 2 cans

Pie Filling - any flavor (2 cans)

Coconut and Chopped Nuts (as desired - for topping)

Tear one piece of cake and place in punch bowl.
Add layers of each ingredient in order as listed above.
Repeat for a total of 3 layers
End with an extra layer of cool whip.
Top with coconut and nuts.

Flavor of cake mix, pudding and pie filling is not specified so that you can be creative and come up with a mix you like.
However, the most commonly used are: White cake mix, vanilla pudding and cherry pie filling.
