Calling Card

For this tut you will need:
PSP 7
Baby Bear tube

This tut assumes that you are familiar with PSP 7 and does not include screen shots. Makes it so much better for printing it out.

I like to print the tuts that I do and hate printing stuff I already know. Terrible waste of that expensive ink.

Open new image 300 x 200 transparent.

Add a layer.

Flood fill with color of your choice.
I used mauve, #AB6F82.

Add a layer.

Use the airbrush tool with these settings:
size 20, hardness 30, opacity 100, step 1, density 20
Airbrush 3 lines near the top of the calling card in colors of your choice. They do not have to be straight. I used the following: Aqua #C0FFFF, Peach #FFC0C0, and Yellow #FFFFC0.

Select the retouch tool with these settings:
Push, size 20, hardness 0, opacity 100, step 1, density 100

Make some streaks through the lines that you just airbrushed and add some jagged edges.

Go to EFFECTS, BLUR, BLUR

Then, EFFECTS, GEOMETRIC EFFECTS, WAVE, with these settings:
Horizontal: Amplitude 0, Wavelength 1; Vertical: Amplitude 3, Wavelength 58

EFFECTS, 3D EFFECTS, DROP SHADOW with these settings:
Vertical 1, Horizontal 1, Opacity 100, Blur 4, Color Black

Add a New Layer

Select the babybear.tub with a scale of 65 and step 200

After adding the tube, move it with the mover tool to the desired position.

Add a new layer.

With your dropper tool, select a color for your text.
I used #252C51.

Click on your text tool and add the text. I used DJ Doodlers font, size 28.

Position the text, then use the SHIFT KEY + D to duplicate the image 5 times.

Merge visible on one of the images and save as a psp file.

On your next image, use the eraser tool and erase all the lettering except the word "I". Merge visible and save.

On the next image, erase all the lettering except the word "Love". Merge visible and save.

Continue with the other 2 images, doing them the same way, erasing a different word each time.

Next, go to EFFECTS, 3D EFFECTS, BUTTONIZE with these settings:
height 20, width 20, opacity 75 and check transparent edge.

Open Animation Shop.

Click on the Animation Wizzard.

Check "Same size as the first image frame"
Click "Next"
Check "Opaque", click Next.
Check "Centered in the frame" and "with the canvas color", click Next.
Click "Yes, repeat the animation indefinitely" and 40 times, click Next.
Add the images that you just saved and click Next.
Continue clicking next until finished. You can click on the view button to see your animation.

Then go to File, Save As and name your animated calling card.
