My assignment was to create an animated globe using the provided elf picture.
My results are below:



For week 2, I also had to create 2 picture frames.
One family heirloom and one wedding presentation.
For the family heirloom, I used a photograph of my mother when she was 17 years old.
For the wedding presentation I used a tube.



Instructions for family heirloom:
Select the area inside the frame with the magic wand.
Selections, modify, expand by 2.
Copy the photo and paste into selection. Deselect.
Add new layer.
Applied the globe tube that I had made from the elf above, at 65%.
Adjust the globe to fit with the deformation tool.
Merge visible and save as psp file and also exported as gif file.

For the wedding frame, I used basically the same method except that after selecting inside the frame,
I flood filled with color #BC7D6E.
Then added a texture to the color.
I then went to colors, colorize, and colorized the frame and the background.
Next, I added a new layer and applied a wedding tube.

For week 3, I animated the frames by adding layers as shown in the tut for the elf globe.



{I resized the animation on these frames to 50% in order for the page to load faster}.
And I see the mistakes that I made when I used the deformation tool on the snow for these.
