August - Week 2
Assignment - Making Masks

The first three images are according to the tut and the last three are my own.
I used the same image for each one in order to compare the differences.







I am using PSP 7 and I did the following masks according to the tut with these exceptions:

For the next one I set the select area dialog box at left 30, right 170, top 30, bottom 170. Then selections, modify, feather 30. Then I went to effects-geometric effects, twirl.



In the one below I set the select area dialog box to left 20, right 180, top 20, bottom 180. Then selections, modify, feather 50. Flood fill with white. Then effects, geometric effects, curly Q's. Columns 10, rows 10, size 100, strength 15, clockwise, symetric checked.



For this last one I set the texture to landscape, the select area dialog box to left 30, right 160, top 30, bottom 160. Then Selections - Modify - feather 20. Then selections - expand 10. Then Selections - Invert. Flood filled the selection with black.
