~I Remember~

I remember long ago, I was about 10yrs old.(I'm 30 something now)

You see I love Horses, and Unicorns, and for my 10th birthday my Daddy took me to the stables to go horseback riding,

Once there he asked me to pick out a horse. There was this one horse that was just increadable!

He was a Morgan Horse.

{ I still smile thinking about that day. }

Back to the story, sorry.

Well, I did pick the Morgan Horse, { Smile. } Next thing I knew my dad was helping them load the horse up on the back of a truck

I Looked at my dad, { wondering what was going on. } and asked him " Daddy, what are they doing?" My dad just smiled, and said "Happy Birthday Sweetie "

OMG ! I started crying, { As I am now. } and jumping up and down with such unbelievable joy, them I jumped into my Daddy's arms, and gave him the biggest hug, squeezing the stuffing out of him.

That was the best birthday, I have ever had, and will never forget.

OH My horses name was "Bigan"

My Daddy was a loving, compassionate, honest, givng, and caring man.

My dad was always there for you when you needed him, he would give you the shirt off his back, if you needed it, even his last penny, anything to help someone in need.

I Remember when I first got married, and times were tough, my husband and I just got a burr up our butts, and bought a new truck.

Only one problem... we didn't have the money for insurance,

What did my daddy do? Well, he told us to meet him at his insurance agency, so we did... my daddy got a policy started for us.

Only to find out later, that he had used the last of his money to do that for us.

He never said a thing about it.. for the rest of his life

I miss my Daddy so very much, I miss his smile, his funny jokes, and off the wall stories. { Smile. }

I miss being able to go to him, when I need help, advise, a friend, a shoulder to cry on, I miss my daddy !!!

I miss the fishing trips we used to take, and my dad teaching my little brother how to fish. { Teasing him, acting like the fish was gonna get him.. }

I miss the pressious moments we had shared, and regret all the precious moments he can't share with me any more, he will never get to see my children, { I was pregnant with my first, when he passed away. }

My Daddy will never see my children play on the swings, in the pool, he will never get to see the holiday plays they will be in, or the birthday parties.

My daddy won't be able to teach them how to fish as he taught me.

My daddy said before he passed away, that he would spoil them rotten, now he won't be able to.

My Daddy would've been the greatest Grandpa Ever !

I keep My Daddy Close to my heart, and wish he was here today, I know he would be proud of his little girl.

I carry him within my heart,

Here he will live forever.

I LOVE YOU DADDY !

For ~My Daddy~

He is always with me, and my babies.
