How long has it been since the last time you kissed,
Does it seem like forever since you had been missed,
Are you longing for someone to just call your name,
Or hold you in their arms to take away the pain.
Or whisper "I Love You" for now and forever,
To tell you each day "We will always be together",
To take to the beach and walk by the shore,
To feel their warm body and just yearn for more.
To have such a need that you cannot explain,
To feel deep inside and try and refrain,
From crying your eyes out and thinking back when,
You once had a lover but never again.
For is this really love that makes you hurt so,
Only you can answer and only you can know,
Is this the real thing that you've waited for,
Or should you not want to open this door.
A door full of wonders the key to your heart,
Is how it begins and how it all starts.
You have to search hard for the right thing to do,
It may take awhile but make sure that its true,
Don't get in a hurry or take anyone,
Just to keep from being lonely or to just have some fun.
Let your heart do the talking it won't steer you wrong,
