Hi! How are you? My name is Cindi and I am what our gentleman lovingly refers to as a farm girl.
There are very few chores that I won’t try and tackle.
Pull the weeds out of the back yard, I’m up to it. Mow the grass, put out the rocks and make the
yard look pretty. Slop the hogs, milk the cows, I will do any chore on the farm except for the
chickens. The only thing I will do for them is get rid of them.
I know how to ride a horse, although I haven’t for years. I’m not the greatest at table manners and
polite talk. I try, I really do but usually I mess up somewhere and something winds up on the floor
or in my lap or someone else’s lap.
This man took me to 21 once in New York. There I was dressed to the nines, looking so spiffy
and pretty. We had a lovely meal and on the way out of the restaurant, my high heel shoe got
stuck on the table leg and I started to fall. I pulled down the table cloth from our table and one
other and wind up in some strangers lap. The man I was with just laughed and laughed.
I would like to put him in a pen with an anger bull and have him see how funny it is. Not really
when you are like me you have to learn to laugh with people who are laughing at you. I wouldn’t
trade all my klutz farm behavior for the fancy behavior I have seen of some.
I am most comfortable in shorts and tee shirts or jeans and sweaters. I love strawberry ice cream
and raspberry anything. A good gooseberry pie is good also. My ultimate favorite though is
blackberry cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on it.
I do like to cook and am good at it. Our gentleman loves my fried chicken and potatoes and such.
He is so wonderful and we are so fortunate to have him to love us.
I really don’t like fish unless I catch them and cook them over the camp fire. Then they are really
tasty. I have one special thing that I like and it is so silly I don’t know if I should mention it. Well,
I love carousel horses. The old fashion ones are so lovely and were so lovingly crafted, I yearn to
own my own REAL carousel horse.
One other thing I almost forget to mention. I love the mountains and love to go fishing and just hiking. I can sit for hours without moving to watch a Beaver family with their dam. The mountains are where I really belong.
Well that is about it from me. My name is Cindi. I like to work hard, I like to play hard, and I
love our gentleman. I have an active mind, a wonderful imagination and I exist. I am a person on
to my own right. No one can or should take that from me.
