My name is Sable. I am 18 years old. Old enough to do some things but smart enough to know
not to. I have always been a bit of a rebel since I came into being. I am Serena’s little sister and
she does big sister things a lot, like yell at me and bug me. I just stick my tongue out at her and
do what I want.
I love the night time. I guess you could say I am a creature of the night. Any more though I
don’t get to go out at night that much. It is hard feeling and being so young in an older body.
Because of Caroline’s eye sight I can’t see that well at night now.
I used to love to ride motorcycles. The feel of the wind in your hair, the total freedom of being
able to move in and out of traffic easily. I gave that up because we were going to have a baby and
we didn’t want anything bad to happen to the baby.
Stormy nights are the best. When the wind is howling and the lightening is flashing and there is
thunder so loud it shakes the house. That is the very best time in the world. I love to stay awake
and watch the lightening and hear the thunder.
Raven and I snuggle together on the couch and just watch the storms all the time, but we don’t
get very many storms here.
I like ice cream with hot fudge on it and whipped cream and nuts. I love a good steak with
mushrooms and potato sticks. I love our gentleman and our house near the mountains. I love the
mountains the way you feel when you are in them, like nothing else is important. I love Raven,
our dog and Sterling our cat is all right. Most of all I love the fact that I am free to come out if I
wish. There is nothing or no one to hurt me here and that is the best feeling of all FREEDOM.
My name is Sable, I am a little different, I am a person, with feelings and rights, and I have a right
to exist. I am alive and free. I am real.
