State deputie investigates why alcohol
and teenagers driving do not mix.

The vehicle below, driven by a sober driver, shows
what happens when friends allow drunk
drivers to get behind the wheel. The vehicle
was struck by the Bronco, at right.
The Bronco that had been driven by a
a drunk driver, left his lane and struck the
car, at right, head on.
ALL PEOPLE INVOLED DID WALK AWAY!

This picture was taken after
an 18-wheeler struck a deer, ran into
a median and launched off of a snow bank.
Once again the driver was ok, precationary
measures where taken although.
The truck seen in the back ground
came around one of our dangerous corners
lost control and flipped over into the ditch.
The driver although stuck in the truck due to
the door being smashed, was fine and embarassed.

One of the Philippi City Police, from
Barbour County, holds up some of the
crack cocain found during a drug raid.
The bust made by accident was
found during a noisy dog complaint.
Elkins firefighters work to upright a
cattle loader that became unhitched from
a ford truck crossed center and totaled
a new Dodge Darango.
