The Closing Ritual

The closing ritual is the way to dismantle the circle you have erected. You should make sure any newly consecreated objects are held in the back so no banishing is done towards them.
The High Priestess goes to the East, raises her athame in salute saying:

‘Ye Lords of the Watchtowers of the East, ye Lords of Ait, I do thank you for attending our rites and ere ye depart to your pleasant and lovely realms I bid thee Hail and Farewell.’

‘Ye Lords of the Watchtowers of the South, ye Lords of Fire, I do thank you for attending our rites and ere ye depart to your pleasant and lovely realms I bid thee Hail and Farewell.

'Ye Lords of the Watchtowers of the West, ye Lords of Water, ye Lords of Death and Initiation, I do thank you for attending our rites and ere ye depart to your pleasant and lovely realms I bid thee Hail and Farewell./

'Ye Lords of the Watchtowers of the North, ye Lordso f Earth, Boreas thou guardian of the Northern Portals, I do thank you for attending our rites and ere ye depart to your pleasant and lovely realms I bid thee Hail and Farewell.'

Thank the Goddess and God in whatever words you choose...but we never bid them Farewell...who would wish them to leave?.
Finally say:

'The circle is open but always unbroken...Merry did we meet..... Merry do we part...Merry May we Meet again!

This is the Closing Ritual as given by Janet and Stewart Farrar in the Witches Bible Compleat.
