There's no doubt that life is short, as Jim Morrison said, "I Wanna get my kicks in before the whole S****house goes up in flame.", but when it life gets ripped away from someone that is only 16 then you start to percieve how screwed up life can be. For those of you who didn't know Bud Painter, who died on March 30th 2000, then you just missed out on knowing the craziest, coolest person out there. I was one of the lucky ones to be able to call him a friend, whenever i was feeling down, all i had to do was talk to Bud and he could get me laughing without even trying. Those who could also account for knowing him can and will testify to that also. When something like this happens it really puts things in perspecctive for us, to bad it takes a loss like this to get that across to us.

Bud, you will forever shine on in our hearts, we will never forget your smile and the twinkle in your eyes. Why did you leave us so soon? i still remember the day i met you way back in 6th grade. Im gonna miss you man, I can't wait till the day i get to hear some more stories.
