Jason Janik is an award-winning photographer from Dallas, TX. He has worked with the Richardson News, Dallas Morning News, Harder Beat Magazine, Slam Magazine, Spin Magazine and other publications. While attending Richland College where he received a degree in Fine Arts, Jason worked with several well-known Dallas commercial photographers as a photographic assistant. It was this hands-on experience that helped him develop the skills and confidence needed to create the professional photographs he does today. During this same time he also worked on the campus newspaper as photo editor and eventually became editor-in chief. He co-founded decoy magazine, the school's first entertainment magazine, and won several state and national awards for his hard work and dedication.
Jason has photographed Paul Simon, Tom Petty, Penn and Teller, N'Sync, Chris Farley and many other performers for publication. He has traveled on assignment throughout North America, the Caribbean and Latin America. He is available 24 hours a day and specializes in night and evening shoots.
