Walter Graham, also known by some as "METALVAMPYRE" and
"The G-Man"(due to popularity with
women), was born in the state of New
Jersey on the 24th of June, 1969 and was raised mostly in Virginia and North
Carolina. He began "bashing the
skins"
at age eleven in school symphony band,
and in 1983 won an award for "Most
Outstanding Band Member", and graduated
to "First Chair" snare drum player in
his high school's marching band. His
parents bought him his first drum set at age thirteen, and at age fifteen he
joined his first Heavy Metal band named
"SPECTOR" which became an all original
act playing numerous parties for
approximately two years. At the age
of
seventeen, Walter left high school in
his senior year and toured the East
Coast club circuit for approximately ten months playing the drums with a well
known rock band by the name of "MERLIN"
from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and
established his name through the club
circuit as a "very loud-n-powerful,
young, energetic, and visually appealing drummer". In 1988, Walter left MERLIN with the lead vocalist to form a
younger, more energetic, image-concious, female-stimulating Metal Band; "HOTT
SHOT". HOTT SHOT, based out of Cocoa
Beach, Florida, toured the East Coast
club circuit for approximately twelve
months acquiring a "highly polished"
performance status, and in September
1989, HOTT SHOT competed against 19
bands from the state of Florida in a
"Battle of the Bands" contest held at
the POWER STATION in Melbourne, FL: Only to be victorious. Shortly thereafter,
scheduled recording time became null and void as HOTT
SHOT separated due to personal
differences. The band reformed with
the
name "KIDD WYLD". KIDD WYLD performed
locally, experienced numerous line-up
changes, and separated in 1991. In
1992, Walter joined a band named "BISHOP STEEL", based out of Cape Canaveral, FL. BISHOP STEEL worked steadily
throughout Central Florida for almost
three years; despite frequent lead
vocalist replacements. Due to
frustrating personal differences, the
band separated in 1995. Since 1995,
Walter's been involved in several
different local projects that've
dissipated. He is seeking work with
professional musicians who have similar
interests to form THE band to rock the
hell out of the "2000's"...
